The hotel is perfectly set in the City Centre next to the Copenhagen harbour and only a few minutes on foot from Nyhavn's Restaurants, Amalienborg (The Royal Castle), Christiansborg The Danish Parliament), The Royal Theatre, Kongens Nytorv and excellent shopping at Strøget, the pedestrian street and the major department stores.
Hotel Maritime is rated as a 3-star Hotel Garni by the official Danish rating system and has 64 rooms all with en suite bathrooms (shower and toilet), hairdryer, cable-TV, radio, telephone. WIFI against payment.
In our reception we have a guest PC with ASDL-access to the internet.
Hotel Maritime has a large conferenceroom located on the top floor with direct access to terrace.
The conferenceroom is equipped with whiteboard, flipover, overheadprojector, data-projector for PC and TV, radio with tape- and CD-player, Video and TV, ADSL- internet connection. Access to telefax and photocopy.
Capacity is approx. 25 persons in u-shape, approx. 40 persons in classroom and approx. 70 persons in theatre setting.
Buffet breakfast is available daily between 7 and 10 a.m. in our restaurant on the ground floor.
Dry cleaning and laundry service same day delivery Monday through Friday.
Drinks and sandwiches available 24 hours a day.
Check-in time is 3 p.m. but rooms are normally available from around noon.
Rooms must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of departure.

Getting there:
A taxi to/from the airport is approx. dkk. 180,00. The distance is abt. 9 km and the trip normally takes abt. 15 minutes. Ask the driver to take the coastral road (Amager Strandvej), which is faster and less expensive than the (new) highway.
There is also a Metro service from/to the airport. The Metro stops at Kongens Nytorv, approx. 5 minutes walk from Hotel Maritime.
There is a train service as well as a direct busline no. 250S between the airport and the Central Railway Station.
The distance between The Central Railway station (and Tivoli Garden) and Hotel Maritime is approx. 2,5 km. Busline no. 1 A runs between the station (from back of the building) and Kongens Nytorv, a few minutes walk from our hotel. Busline 65E runs between the station (from back of the building) and stops at Holbergsgade right next to the hotel, however Busline 65E only runs during the rush-hour.

Parking is available in the street close to the hotel. Price (ticket-machine) DKK 15 per hour Monday to Friday incl. from 08:00 to 18:00 hours, DKK 9 from 18:00 hours to 23:00 hours and DKK 3 from 23:00 hours to 08:00 hours. Saturday DKK 15 from 08:00 til 17:00 hours. Parking free of charge Saturday as from 17:00 hours as well as Sunday.
Multi-Storey car parks are available in and around the city centre. The nearest is approx. 10 minutes walking distance from our hotel.
