Maritime Park & Spa Resort Krabi

Great, huge hotel with all facilities, nice big rooms. We stayed there for just one night before heading home because it is very close to the airport (10 minutes). Huge pool and wonderful little lake where you can paddle in a canoe and watch varans and monkeys. We travelled with two small children (5 and 7) and they loved it, too!

Great setting for relaxing with family. Ditto for business activities. Not the night club scene.

This is one of the better resorts. While it may not be on the beachfront the resort has shuttles which take you to Ao Nang. It has a large garden area as well. Certainly one of the best resorts for the prices on offer.

Excellent hotel, the rooms are bright and spacious with all the ameneties you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The grounds and pool are beautiful and scenry breathtaking - our room had a view over the famous limestone karsts which are lit up at night so very romantic. Breakfast has a wide choice and the hotel restaurant is good. The hotel is situated out of town which is about a 5 minute drive away, the hotel does has a shuttle service but we had our own car. I would definately stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone who just wants to relax in a beautiful setting or has their own transport. A walk around the lake at sunset is a must as is a trip to tiger cave nearby and the waterfall.

Oh dear. Great hotel, idyllict view and staff so friendly and willing. But training seems non existent. Try getting a taxi or a poolside towel promptly. To be an international hotel charging 25% more than say Penang they've got to be a whole lot sharper. This is a big management problem. Breakfasts are a bit poor too with not much choice. But other than this carping its a delightful place to stay well away from the tourism of Ao Nang. Tip: beware the scam at the hotel pier for the 1 Hour boat trip. Check the price and if it is for two or each.

The location of the hotel isn't the best, but it didn't matter since the staff were really friendly and the surrondings very beautiful. We had a great time staying there.

Great pool area and nice big rooms. Quiet. I recommend that you take a taxi or hotel shuttle bus to Ao Nang beach.

The resort runs a free shuttle out to Railey beach which is great, and they had great theme nights (Thai banquet and Thai dancing - or Sea Gypsy seafood night) which were discounted and worked out great value, as the one we did included a free boat trip around the mangroves first.
