The Mark Hotel Hessenland is located right in the centre of Kassel and close to the pedestrian zone. The hotel in the style of the fifties is located in the heart of Kassel, nearby the pedestrian zone (50m). It offers 48 comfortable rooms. A perfect finish for the day could be a beer on draught or a wine in our bar or lobby.
In the pedestrian zone of Kassel, only a few minutes away from the hotel, guests will find diverse shopping facilities and restaurants. Many museums in the city, such as the Grimm-Museum (fairytale) invite the guests to discover. By Car:
The Mark Hotel Hessenland, Obere Koenigsstrasse 2 , 34117 Kassel from Frankfurt or Hannover via A 7 : Exit "Dreieck Kassel: Stadtmitte" to A 49, take exit: "Stadtmitte / Auestadion" direction Innenstadt / Rathaus and follow the street straight on for 1km.
Than turn right to Frankfurter Straße / straight on until a hill called Weinberg / follow the Tramline and turn left at the next intersection on the top of the hill ( at cinema “Cineplex”) / next intersection left again (on the left side you see the Restaurant "Eckstein") to "Obere Koenigsstraße" / on left side you will find our hotel.
By Train:
From the train station „Kassel-Wilhelmshoehe“, use the tram 1 or 3 towards downtown and stop at the station “Rathaus”. Walk back 100 metres and on the right hand, you will find the Mark Hotel Hessenland.
