"hotel was clean and tidy handy to main section of kyoto - staff were
friendly and obliging - a little overpriced but pretty good overall" - peter madden
"The Court is a fairly basic tourist hotel and about as expected. The room was small and bathroom very small but it was clean and bed and pillow comfortable. The location is great, right by the bus stop for everywhere, plus one can walk to the main shopping area --- about 10-15 minutes, or if feeling fit on to some of the temples around the Gion area. The front desk staff tried their best to answer our questions and help, which they did, but their english was poor. " - Rebecca Brooks
"We were satisfied and I can reccommend this hotel." - Miroslav Gala
"The location of the hotel is convenient, near major bus stops served by many bus routes. However the hotel itself is not good. The hotel room size is very small and the bathroom is absurdly tiny. In addition, the room looks quite dirty too. We were there in October ie Autumn season and the aircon cannot work because the hotel said that as the weather is cold in Autumn, they will not turn on the aircon. We were shocked to hear that. First thing is that the weather is pretty warm during our stay there, esp in the afternoons, and secondly we have to open our window for ventilation, and the window shares a common ledge with other hotel rooms hence it is not safe at all to have your windows opened as intruders may climb into your room at night. So, we had to keep our window closed and suffer the heat and stuffiness during our 2 nights stay there. Lastly, the staff does not speak English or very limited English. In short, we will never stay in this hotel again. " - Anonymous
