Good hotel a little outside the center, but with bus connection to city and train station close to hotel (every 10 minutes). Internet was free when asked for. Very good breakfast.
Maxim Hotel offered me a pleaseant stay. The only problem is location - it's about 20 minutes from city center. The hotel may look like a Soviet bureau from the 70's but the rooms are OK. A big plus - good supermarket downstairs.

Convenient location, about a 40 minute walk from the city centre, bus available a couple of blocks away, but seem to run irreguarly at night. No ironing facilities only drawback. Supermarket next door and plenty of parking available. Very nice breakfast and friendly staff.
This hotel is very nice considering the price. The list price on the door ranged from 175 to 375 euro however with [your website] we only paid a fraction of the price.
nice hotel for price as long as u allow 10 euros for taxi each way into verona or 1.20 on crowded bus from bus stop 5 mins walk. good selection for breakfast.
It is realy nice and very good hotel. This hotel is realy 4 stars. Rooms clean, breakfast very good. If I will be in Verona againt I will stay in this hotel
We booked this hotel at an excellent rate, 2/3 the prices paid for the much poorer hotels in Milan. Buses into the centre of Verona were 1/4 mile away and very cheap - but watch out for pick-pockets, I lost a camera. A taxi safer at about 10 euros. Room was large, comfy, well fitted out and much nicer than we experienced in Milan. A lot of businessmen which was a good reference. Staff very professional and friendly. Our bar bill was expensive for what we had. We didn't use the restaurant in the evening but if you want something local the Pizzeria Carlore was excellent. Breakfasts were good with scrambled eggs as well as the usual cold meats and cheese. Close enough for us to take a day trip to Venice.
Bus or car necessary but acceptable as parking in Bologna is limited and quite expensive! Very cheap rate (€45 for double) but note that not all rooms have been renovated. Got a twin with 5-star bathroom (2 basins + multi-function cabin shower).
A bit difficult to find late at night and further from the station than I realised.
Very helpfull staff, clean rooms and good beds. Couldn't match the [website]-prices directly on location and the reception-lady suggested we'd book online while she waited and already copied our ID's. Breakfast buffet had a wide range of choices. I'd recomment this hotel absolutely to anyone who needs a hotel in Verona, I wish we stayed in this hotel instead of driving further into Italy.
Wonderful Hotel in a nice location and wonderful staff.Would truely recomend
Out of town but buses easily found nearby that take you to the centre. Be aware that reference to the Esso garage as a means of finding the hotel can be confusing since there are TWO Esso garages on the road mentioned within 800 meters of each other.
hotel is located near the center, but it takes about 15-20 min by bus. Pricing was fabulous for all the service and rooms (big and comfortly). Free use of safe.
hotel very clean, but located in the suburbs and hard to find you need to take a taxi to town centre, definitely can't walk! (about 10euro) breakfast good, plenty of it price very cheap due to location
Maxim hotel staff were quite helpful for the slightly lost Aussie tourist: in terms of guidance for public transport they're a lot like many other places in Italy - you get the "go out there and turn left" explanation and that's kind of where it ends. It was enough though - the hotel is very conveniently located. It's clean, the food is nice (buffet breakfast is wonderful!), and the cleaners fanned my pyjamas across my bed very artfully one morning! All in all a decent place to stay in Verona. ~8)
Great Hotel at very good price, only thing is it is a bit out of town, but we would certainly use the Maxim again.
This is not the closest hotel out there to the center of town. It is about 50 min walking. On the other hand, it is 15 min from the Porta Vescovo railway station, which is NOT the main station (Porta Nuova).
The hotel was ok, although the walls are paper thin. Friendly staff. Walking to the city centre takes about a half hour through a rather boring neighbourhood. Although everything was ok, I wouldn't stay there again because of the location.
They have freeparking out the front which is great otherwise you can use their garage for 5 euros, also a supermarket underneath which comes in very handy. The room was very spacious, good bathroom and they have a decent restaurant, but the hotel is a bit out of town and not the nicest area, but definitely still good for the price.
Great , nothing but good things to say about this hotel.
