Getting there:From the airport head across the Tasman Bridge and into Davey Street. Take the Sandy Bay Road exit and follow until you reach the King Street intersection (Post Office on corner). Take the next left into Princes Street and turn right into the motel carpark (approx. distance 22km).
Check-in Procedure:RECEPTION CLOSES AT 7.00pm. If you are arriving later than this please let us know PRIOR TO ARRIVAL so that alternative arrangements can be made (flight number & flight arrival time would be appreciated).

A real hidden gem in Hobart. Reception 5 stars, very friendly and helpfull Parking next door, restaurants and facilities 1 minute away, quite in the evening, good room and not expensive What can you ask more.
Michael, at the motel was excellant. The rooms were clean and tidy. It scored and average because it had and old fashion tv in the room. Also the car parking arrangements are a little tricky for visitors but I must stay we got the hang of it by the second day. But overall we would recommend this place and would stay again when we visit Tassie.. happy with this one

Our stay at the Mayfair Plaza Motel was lovely. The staff were so helpful - beyond any expectations. Very comfortale and safe environment to take young children on my own. Highly recommend to anyone.
Apart from no gym or pool, the facility was very suitable for us.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. It's in a good location, close to the bay, restaurants, supermarkets, etc...I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable place in a good location.
We found the staff to be friendly, the room to be spacious and comfy, the location was nearby to all services yet it was quiet making for a good nights rest and parking was a breeze. i would highly reccomend and definately stay there again
A rather strange arrangement is this hotel/motel. Built in as part of a shopping arcade. Not particularly convenient location, unless you have a car with you. Room was large, but fairly basic.
Convenient and room size is big. We love the bakery next to hotel entrance.
Nice quiet location with everything on the doorstep. Good parking and very easy to find.
A great location. Easy to get in and out with regard to parking. Fifteen minutes walking to most of the good eating sites. Will make it our regular place for accommodatoin for our future visits to Hobart.

Repeat visitor and always impressed with standard of cleanliness and friendly service. Quiet and convenient location still within walking distance from town centre.
The motel is located in the Sandy Bay shopping area very close to restaurants, supermarkets and a short walk (10 mins) to Wrest Point Casino and a longer walk to Salamanca via Battery Point with some nice old pubs. We found it very comfortable and spacious but did lack the natural daylight from a window or view (our room, but other rooms may have street front view). The best view was from the upper carpark.
This is such a beautiful hotel
Extremely quiet, even though less then two kilometres from the heart of the city. Many restaurants are within five minutes walk. Rooms are large and very comfortable--highly recommended!
Tried to rebook on return journey. No rooms available but staff very accommodating.

This Motel is located within a small shopping complex and all rooms face into the central covered courtyard. No rooms have natural light which might be a concern for some. There are a number of good eateries nearby which compensates for the lack of cooking facilities common to many motels.
Some time ago, this was a roofed in public area, with small shops all around. The shops has now been converted to rooms, facing the center area. The motel now has rooms, who are very spacious, and have a large window towards the indoor public area (dont forget to close the drapes...!). Would be happy to stay there again.
