Stayed here before and will stay here again.

I have stayed here twice in the last 2 weeks. Very friendly and perfect if you just need somewhere to crash after a big night out on the town.

Staff were friendly. Fun place to stay lots of friendly people to talk to. Great location.

Right in the backpacker district of Sydney, great Thai restaurant next door open till late. Excellent value meals at the corner pub, short walk to Central Station and Chinatown. Will stay there again.

Customer service was great. Is in a heritage building, so does come across a bit decrepit, and the lack of powerpoints in the rooms was a bit inconvenient. Our room was directly off the games room, so was a bit noisier than I guess another room may have been. Excellent location. All told, for the price and allowing it IS a backpackers, it was fine.

Staff, friendly and helpful, facilities clean, showers where the only bad thing, no water pressure, and you had to shower under a dribble of water

This is not my usual choice of accommodation. Unfortunately I booked attendance at a seminar in Sydney not realising it was the weekend of the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. My choice for central accommodation was at the extremes: backpacker or inflated 5* hotel rates. I had a double room to myself. Three complaints: the room looked nothing like the advertised room, other guests were very noisy and there was no powerpoint in the room. Staff were generally helpful and cheerful.

The rooms are very different. Some have outlets, some not. I had a ceiling fan. There is quite a bit of noise from the common rooms. There is a direct shuttle to the airport for $12. Wireless internet does not reach all rooms, but they have several computers in the lobby.

if you want to just crash after a night out and not spend too much this is the way to go

Cool place for young people. this old bugger was just transitting so the location was key....and the Maze is in a damn good location.

Helpful Staff and great rates

friendly service and helpful, i am somewhat older than the average guest there and the young people were very respectful cheap as anything and in the centre of the city

I stayed in a room next to the main eating area and it was so noisy! People were walking past (or should I say running and screaming all hours of the night) past my room. I got no sleep whatsoever...Lucky I only stayed for 1 night. If you're like me who prefer private bathroom then I would recommend paying a little bit extra and stay in a cheap hotel..

The service was awesome. Really friendly staff members. Funky party atmosphere.

The location is near the central station only few meters away. I will recommend this place to my friends and the price was right.

Reception staff very helpfull the music being played was too loud and too late but I must remember I am 50 Connnor was great with directions

It was a box of a room, lterally. What do you expect for $60. The toilets were a disgrace though!

The room was ok. The mens shower and toilet block was dirty and it looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks. The noise was bad too but ear plugs on the second night helped.If that was back packers no thanks.
