Medina Executive Barrack Plaza Perth

We spent three nights at this hotel, in a studio apartment, and were delighted with how spacious and well-appointed it was. The room had a microwave, toaster, and basic kitchen equipment so you could eat in if you wanted to.

As always the Medina is clean, comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic. The only gripe I have is that the sugar and coffee etc wasn't fully restocked each day. Other than that, fantastic!

We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment which was a pleasant surprise. The view from the balcony was a rubbish strewn building rooftop. Not good but the extra space in the apartment was worth it. We did notice lack of shelving in the bathroom (nowhere to put your toiletry bag). TV's need to be upgraded. Very comfy bed!

we had a great room a lot bigger than last time. Not having access to car parking at the hotel was inconvient. We had to pay $30 in a public car park for 21 hours. expensive!! The room was clean and had everything we could want. We will be back next time we stay in the city.

Very central location. Mall, train station, river close by. Several cafes next door/across road (Asian cuisine) open late when city shuts. Supermarket/Liquor shop in mall. 2bedroom 1bathroom apartment was excellent for family . We were on 2nd floor. Some late night noise from hotel bar - not enough to annoy. Great to have pool in inner city hotel. Small balcony to access fresh air. Room new so fixtures/fittings fresh/modern/clean. Very Good now - may deteriorate over time as not meticulous in cleaning (dust in corners). Really appreciated mini bar/room service as not many apartments offer. No room service weekend lunch/dinner. MAKE SURE TO BOOK PARKING when you make your reservation - limited car parking on site. Car park FULL. Parked offsite - Wilsons (Cnr Wellington & Pier) $10 overnight weekend rate(closed midnight till 10am Sunday). Parking during the week, minimum $40 overnight. Overall extremely happy - family apartment - centre of town.

The staff at the Medina were very helpful.All staff were always friendly and efficient. There had been a problem with our booking of single beds rather than a double but the hotel were very supportive to make the change.They were also able to accomodate us when we requested swapping rooms.They also were prepared to communicate with Club Hotel on our behalf to change bookings. This was dealt with quickly and most reasonably. Though this hotel does not have great views, it is centrally located if that's what you need.It's located very close to great public transport. We were disappointed to discover there were extra car park costs(VERY HIGH!) as we weren't alerted to those costs by Club Hotel. We will be more aware of that in the future! Perth is gorgeous, a wonderful place to visit.

Excellent location, facilities and service. Usual Check-in time is at 2.00pm. I arrived very early in the morning (7:00am) and the staff were extremely helpful to accommodate and allowed me to check-in early. Thanks guys.

gr8 location, pool wasn't ready - took ages to fix & then it was cold was perfect the 1st time we went there, as for a large room like we did & an apartment room not a studio room as they are bigger & better rooms I believe. very very clean. would stay there again just need to fix the pool.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment that was very comfortabel. Would like to have been able to get the airconditioner working in the bedroom as it was 39 degrees when we arrived but that wasn't a huge issue. We were pleasantly surprised that it was not noisy as we were right on the street, but we did not have any problem with noise whatsoever. It is very close to everything in the city and would definately return.

Location - fantastic, 2mins to the train station, free buses on the doorstep and just across from the main shopping mall. Club x 2 doors down, but not as seedy an area as you'd think. Staff - Always friendly Pool - Not heated like it was supposed to be. Bed - the 'king size' bed is actually two singles pushed together. Bathroom - clean, but looking a little tired. TV - only pay TV were sport channels and Fox8, no dvd player. Housekeeping - room was ready when i got there, but each day didnt get made up until 2pm - 3pm most days. Room Service - well priced I thought. Run by the cafe downstairs which isnt open on weekends, hence no service on those days. Plenty of restaraunts open nearby though, and Gourmet Courier delivers to the hotel too. Would I stay here again? Yes.

My wife and I stay at the Medina Executive Barrack Plaza Perth for 5 days the location is fantastic , happy people behind the counter and the rooms and hotel was kept very clean . It has a pool/spa and sauna , gym but the pool/spa was not working until our last day . But all up i would recommend this hotel

Stayed in one-bedroom apartment. Clean room with a comfortable bed. Excellent location - it's just located in the heart of CBD! House-keepers did their excellent work. Surprisingly, it's quiet when the glass door on the balcony is closed. However, some furniture are not well maintained.

What a superb location!! Close to everthing. Rooms were lovely and roomy and being able to have a window open a rarity. Would definitely stay here again.

A nice place to stay and close to the mall.

Great Place to stay it is central and very quiet have a few problems with the security cards, but otherwise would highly recommend.
