"The description of the location is accurate but incomplete. The hotel commands great views of the Story bridge, river and the CBD skyline. There is a great walk on the boardwalk to the city. However the last 100 m to/from the Medina is VERY steep. Ivory Lane is a very small street. Drivng to the hotel can be a challence. Positive points 1) Exceedingly helpful staff. 2) Price of parking, although the car park is quite small. Negative point 1 Cost of internet access. it would appear that wired broadband access from the room in Australia is quite expensive but in general wireless access is a lot more affordable. Not in the Medina, it is the same price 2 The bathoom has bath with shower in bath. There was a crazy half width hinged door rather than a sliding one. Crazy design considering the position of the taps and shower head. 3 The standard studio was small and the facilities vey limited compared to other similarly priced city hotels we have used.
