Medina Executive Hotel Coogee

Middle of winter and maybe better place in summer. Was looking forward to pool for swimming training having been told it was 25m. 15 at the most. Gym was typical of most hotels, modest at best, and the sauna was on a timer and never got up to desirable temperature. Good location. Great walks north and south, great cafes, and across the road from a supermarket. A helpful young NZ desk clerk.

Great location Clean and modern feel I would return The lift is rediculously slow and should be air conditioned.

Some rooms can be very noisy - street noise and room air conditioning compressors on balconies that serve two arpartments. Great access to cheap restaurants and supermarket.

Very good value for money - spacious room with kitchenette and balcony for no extra cost. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these serviced apartments to anyone for the price and location. (studio apartment). The courtyard style building insures that you sleep without the noise from traffic. Staff on arrival were genuinely helpful and courteous. Very good value for money in Sydney. Parking for cars is $10 per night, while most Sydney hotels charge $25 -$30

Clean modern studio was great. Fully heated, decent size. LCD TV a little small as only viewing was to be on bed. Will stay again, good breakfast cafe's less than a block walk towards Coogee. Coles , Bakery and newsagent acroos Rd.

The room was really spacious, very modern and clean. Check in process was great with really polite staff who informed us of all the hotel facilities. The hotel Pool was a bit too warm to swim in and the gym equipment very basic but was still functioning ok. Overall, a great stay at this very nice hotel. I would definately reccommend the hotel.

This was a superb spot, only 12 restaurants from the beach !!We were provided with everything we needed for a very relaxing , enjoyable stay.

Ideally located for beach stay. Close to airport and Alexandria factory outlet shopping and only a short drive to Surry Hills etc. Can access all local beaches (to Bondi) by foot via the coastal walk which is relatively easy. If staying for more than 2 nights would consider apartment rather than studio. Although studios are comfortable they are more like motel type rooms

Our room was a 1-bedroom suite with a nice balcony. We like the natural air, but had to suffer from the main air-conditioner unit (shared by other people running their A/) -- it was so loud we couldn't even talk to each other on the balcony. And unfortunately, our room had a rotten odor of sour beer, apparently in the carpet. So, closing the glass door made it reek in there. We did check-in on January 1st, so we could give them benefit of a doubt. Staff was mostly helpful and friendly, except that they kicked us out at 11am sharp, even after they accepted our request for late checkout of 1130am earlier that morning. Very strange. Also, the pool is great for lap swimming, but it is indoors and not for general hanging out. With that said, the hotel is only 2 blocks from the beach. So, a mixed review. I am, however, optimistic about the property in general, and would certainly consider staying there again.

I have stayed here before, (on more than one occasion), and will stay here again. The staff are friendly and most helpful, the service is excellent and it is in a great location.

stayed with my daughter and loved it. location is brilliant for beech and all buses to town. Decor very modern and the whole place was scrublessly clean. It was serviced daily and I would very highly recommend the Medina Executive Googee

An excellent place to stay. Note that the studio apartment "kitchenette" is actually much smaller than would appear, but the service is excellent and the room is comfortable.
