Medina Grand Sydney Apartments

"We originally booked a studio apartment but when we checked in we found it had no hotplates, dishwasher or laundry. The mattress was was terrible! We requested a room change the next day and ended up paying extra to upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment. Well, what a change! This was on Level 15 which had been refurbished and it was so much better than the older rooms! It also had all of the above that was missing in the studio apartment. Definitely recommended but ask for a room on the refurbished floors. Staff were helpful and the resaturant did great coffee and pastries although we only did takeaway so cannot vouch for the sit-down breakfast but it looked good. Be wary of making STD or IDD calls as they are VERY expensive. Check rates with the staff before calling as we couldn't find the rates in the in-room hotel guide." - Anonymous

"Location was fantastic - only 5 min walk to Darling Harbour and 20 min walk down to Circular Quay and easy access without having to go through all the city streets. A few restaurants and convenience stores close by as well. Room was smaller than expected but clean and had everything you need for a long weekend. On site parking was good, but hard to access when checking in. Would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Sydney." - Anonymous

"The apartment was large, modern and very quiet and we were extremely happy with our stay. We were visitors to Sydney and would have liked more information in the room. On ringing Reception they did not offer to assist, seemed confused with the request and we later found multiple tourist pamphletts in the reception level ground floor toilet hallway. " - Anonymous
