Great hotel for Relaxing good value for what we paid 5 star service and surroundings need for better entertainment mainly spainish and poor
We had a very enjoyable stay. The highlight was the chill out area on the fourth floor well worth the 15euro supplement!
Really nice hotel, gorgeous pool area and lovely hotel, rooms are a bit small but very clean and tidy!Would not recommend to go all inclusive, too many nice places to eat out and the food is better outside of the hotel. Location is fabulous, beach is your back garden and really fabulous area! Would absolutely stay here again!!!
very well situated some mountain veiw rooms overlook a road and can be noisy at night advise booking a pool view
Definately not a 5*, maybe 3*, but couldn't grumble with either the location or price. Staff were very friendly and efficient even when they couldn't find our booking!!!! (took 2 hours to sort). The hotel itself was in need of updating, but all in all the rooms were very clean & the buffet breakfast included was vast. Would maybe return to their sister hotel The Cleopatra as it has rooms overlooking the sea.
Standard Package holiday hotel, certainly not 5 star, paper thin walls and tiled floors you can hear snoring etc.Great reception staff .If you like play de las americas its very central.
The reception service was very good as was the bedroom cleaning and laundering etc. 5* the one thing that lets the hotel down is the service in the dining room. We and many other people had to clear tables and reset them ourselves simply because their was no staff it was total chaos every morning. Not a pleasant experience and it got worse as the week went on. Also I think perhaps the hotel could print out some information as to what the hotel has to offer and perhaps local information as this was the first hotel we have stayed that had no information booklet in the bedroom. My husband and I have stayed at this hotel before a few years ago and it was definetly a better experience the first time with 5* service all round. The bedrooms are looking very tired and need some TLC etc.
Only negative comment we would like to suggest that the snack bar at the pool area could be done up a little. Floor area very rough. Otherwise the snack bar was great and the staff excellent and friendly
med is 4 star but still very good i have stayed several times will use again
a very enjoyable time, only complaint is the food in mediterranean palace buffet is not as good as previous occasions.
Breakfast: overall very good but cooked selection quite poor. Buffet dinner: main course poor - fish especially overcooked - frozen vegatables not the best but understandable and acceptable in the circumstance. Staff: (reception, porters, waiters and chamber-maids were the only ones encountered) excellent, efficient, courteous, friendly.
We stayed in the Med Palace for one week from the 10-17th March 07. Although the hotel looks impressive it does have it's problems. The corridors are covered in marble which looks very grand but amplifies every sound made. If someone lets their door bang close it will be heard at the other end of the hotel. There is no soundproofing in the rooms so you can hear everything going on around you. The only other complaint I had was the price of drinks in the bars, 4 Euro's for a beer seems steep to me, especially when you can get one just outside for between 1 and 2.5 Euro's. The entertainment will not suit everyone. However, during the week we stayed there was absolutely nothing that catered to our tastes so I'm sure the hotel could review this aspect. The staff in the hotel were excellent and very helpful with any request. It's in a wonderful location and there are many bars and restaurants in the vicinity.
Everything was wonderful in the hotel except it was much to big and very busy.It was impossible to find a sun lounger around the pool as the hotel was full to capacity.Next time I will stay in Sir Anthony for this reason as it is smaller but that was the only DOWNSIDE for me.
Very nice hotel, also very good hotel to bring your children with you on holiday.
Great hotel, Friendly staff, great pool & facilities all round were excellent. Will stay here again and will recomend to family & friends.
Excellent accommodation could find no faults with this whole complex. Had a brillant week.
It was a very nice hotel. The service was a true 5 star hotel. The swimming pools and pool areas were great and clean. A good hotel to bring children with.
At the med palace nothing is to much trouble for the staff and your every need is catered for.
