Bit expensive, but the location in Darlinghurst is good. Shame there is no parking available here, we had to park at St Vincent's Hospital which is nearby but charges for parking by the hour.
Medusa was a great place to stay; the service was very low-key and relaxed, yet attentive. A good (if a bit grungy; but that's what you expect in Darlo) location close to everything and great value.

Spacious room with 1 king size bed, chaise lounge, high ceilings and original fire place. Rates are for 2 people. Maximum Occupancy is 2.
This was my second time staying at the Medusa. Very nice hotel, I love the blend of modern styling yet the rooms retain a warm cosy feel. Rooms are small and have no full length mirror and that would be my only issue. I love staying in this location. Cool and hip location. Really nice, friendly and helpful staff too. Can't wait to go back.
Lovely, convenient location if you are travelling without a car. Service excellent by all working at the hotel, taking time to highlight all the best places to go. On the downside - public car park near to hotel incredibly expensive and rooms a little tired (marks on carpets, shutters don't close properly, hardryer broken, sockets don't work) and out of date beer in the fridge!
Small rooms, no parking facilities. overpriced rooms. very hard to find.
great central darlinghurst location, but a little pricy for what's provided.
Located five minutes walk from famous Kings Cross, the hotel is well situated to the night time entertainment with excellent cafes, nite cluts, restaurants and pubs. Close to the heart of Sydney, the hotel is also closely situated to most of Sydney's attractions. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Even though the hotel is on a main road, the traffic noise is non-existant. If you want a peaceful relaxing stay, the Medusa is the place.
Reception staff were excellent and happy to help with any requests
Great hotel in a good location. In-room facilities are excellent, although room is very small. Hotel staff attentive and very helpful, restaurant recommendations excellent.
Great location, fantastic dining and shopping district. The best aspect was the great service, 24 hr reception and extremely friendly hosts. They gave great advice and made us feel very welcome. Chocolate on the bed was a great every day!
