Melia Bali Villas & Spa Resort

A fantastic resort with great facilities and located on a beautiful and protected part of the beach at Nusa Dua. Although it is a big hotel, it doesn't feel like it as it is quite personal and has lots of "Balinese" touches in the decor and amenities. The pool area is fantastic and our six year old enjoyed her holiday too! The staff are very friendly, the breakfast included is great and the facilities are very well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

The Hotel is very nice but I think its catering more to couples & not to children. I was there with my 10-year old son. Other than playing volleyball in the pool, there was not much for him to do. He liked the hotel though but it would have been better for children ( & parents) if they have a water-slide.

This was a fantastic stay, try the royal suite, or duplex level suite. The service is great, and they really put effort in making your stay as comfortable as possible.

Excellent Hotel, my only criticism is that the cost of food and drinks was much higher in the Hotel than anywhere else in Bali we had stayed - I appreciate you pay more for the surroundings and service however not up to 6 times as much. In comparison to the UK however, prices are OK.

Eat out - food uninspiring but hotel and service fantastic

Whilst room rates amd facilities are good, the food and beverage prices are completely excessive & prey on a captive audience. The hotel restaurants and bars are empty - no wonder as the current competitive climate in Bali means you can eat out at Premier Class restaurants for about 30% of what the Melia is asking. Enjoy the facilities but eat elsewhere!

This is a wonderful hotel, and certainly one of the best in the Nusa Dua area. I would definately reccomend it. The Service in this hotel was exemplory and the staff were always very friendly and interested in your holiday, and what you were doing and reccomending places to go. The restaurants in the hotel were top class, and very varied, so that all tastes were catered for. The pool was fantastic and very well maintained. The Spa was wonderful, although a bit pricey. Overall the Melia Bali was wonderful and would certainly consider staying there again.
