"This is an amazing hotel. Our only problem was with the billing which did not show the deposit we paid with you. I queried it with the hotel and they said they had no record. On our return I emailed for clarification and they replied that the deposit had been taken into account. The bill did not show it at all. " - Anonymous
"I booked this last minute and was very surprised when I got there. I was in a room on The Level with a dedicated check in, free breakfast and a fantastic room with a view over the harbour. "There is an indoor pool, but you have to pay extra for using it. We went in Feb 08 and there is building going on opposite the front of the hotel, so until that is completed, I suggest requesting for a room NOT overlooking the harbour. We had one overlooking the sea and could not hear the building noise at all.
We took a taxi from and from the airport. For some reason it was 20euros to the hotel and 14euros from the hotel with the meter running. The breakfast selection is excellent and the setting for the breakfast room is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and if we visited Alicante again would most likely stay there." - Anonymous

The Meliá Alicante hotel is located alongside Postiguet Beach, next to the Marina, in the heart of the finest area in the city, only 50 metres from the new Casino, 100 m from City Hall, the shopping district and the historical city centre of Alicante, 800 m from the Archaeological Museum (MARQ), 1 km from the train station and 10 km from Altet airport and various golf courses.

The hotel is located between the "Playa del Postiguet" and the "Marina Deportiva" of Alicante. Its privileged position allows you to reach the airport, train station, A7 motorway and Madrid expressway in the easiest and most comfortable way.
To get the hotel by car from the airport the guests have to join the N-332, enter in Alicante, continue along the N-332 and turn into Avda. de Villajoyosa, then continue on N-332 until Avda. de Juan Bautista Lafora and they willl get the Plaza del Puerto where the hotel is located.
