Melia Princesa Hotel Madrid

We stayed on the 11th floor, fantastic views over the city. The room was very comfortable, spacious, well-equipped, clean modern bathroom. The location is excellent, right next to a metro station with good communications everywhere, although for the fitter person walking into the city centre is a real option. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, but pricey. If you just want coffee and a croissant in the morning, go elsewhere.

I will recomend this hotel . Hotel staff extremely friendly. Room a little be small but nice. Breakfast very expensive.

My room was beautiful, but not at all functional. No wash cloths - apparently the hotel staff had never heard of them... a smoke detector right over the bed that had red flashing lights "to show you that it was working" according to the staff... very cute bowl-shaped sinks in the bathroom - that I couldn't quite use because my hands are too big to fit under the faucets. I'll try another place next time.

I laughed a little when i first walked in... later during the stay i just wantd some normal lighting. Breakfast was not included so cannot comment. Wifi was decent. TV channels poor. Room comfortable. Close to the sttion, but lacking anything in the immediate area it is an easy walk into shopping, dining and bars. Staff were really really average - didn't get a singl smile and they seemed annoyed to have to answer questions etc. Overall, i would not be rushing back, certainly not at their prices.

Great location and staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stayed in this hotel. Good size room and bathrooms were very clean. Good service. Very nice atmosphere. Excellent for the price. If go again to Madrid, will definitely stay in this hotel. Loved it

Nice room Very modern, Great view (I was on the 12 floor). Close to Metro, El Corte Ingles and Plaza España.

Very much geared to Spanish-speaking guests. No English-language newspapers or magazines. Charge for everything, including calling for a taxi or €3.50 for ice to room! Staff friendly.
