Menlo Park Hotel Galway

The room was large and inviting, well laid out and well furnished. Heating can be controlled by the guest in the room. Access and parking are easy. Check water temp before getting in the shower. It was very very hot.. Excellent value hotel and busy as a result. Staff are professional, helpful and really pleasant. Probably too far to walk from Rail/Bus station but a short taxi trip. Shopping centre within walking distance.

The hotel lobby is very nice and is somewhat deceiving. The lobby is modern and there is a nice bar. The rooms, however, are very basic and there is absolutely nothing special about them. Might as well have been in a Days Inn. DO NOT MAKE CALLS from your room either - I was charged $50 for a few local calls!!

Lovely room, everything we needed. Quiet and comfortable

Found the hotel very clean, staff very helpfull, bar food - good selection and of good quality. Liked the fact that they had evening entertainment.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. The lift was out of order but a porter was on hand to help with our luggage. Buffet breakfast was good. You can get a meal in the bar or at their restaurant. Also has a few takaway places nearby, Indian, Chinese etc. Beware if you have to make phone calls check your rates first. We were presented with a large bill for what we thought should have either been free or local call charges as we were using a calling card.

first time in galway and it was fab def will be goin back. the hotel was out of this world the staff are lovely the food is brillent cudnt beat it at all !!! the room was huge the bed was massive the bathroom was huge too u cud stay forever !! galway is a great place to stay so much to do and see. our breakfast came to the room at 10am both mornings and we got washed and went into the city oh yes when u go to reception to book a taxi its there in like 2 sec no joke and u r in town in about 2 mins eyre square is the place to go bars are countless and the shops 2 the craic is mighty !!! we drive to connamara on the sat and got back to the hotel for 8pm and had dinner the food is cheap and lovely the service is great too. when we go back we will be staying at the menlo hotel !!

The staff could not do enough for us. They were very helpful, not just because it was part of their job but each member of staff was genuine and went out of their way to be helpful without being in your face. The only negative is that we only stayed for one night but we will definitely be going back.

The staff here are really friendly- big smiles as soon as you enter the door! The hallways to the rooms need a bit of a paint but the rooms are clean.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. bar food was v good as was breakfast. On one night there was a wedding so very noisy well into the early morning but this was only a one-off. Would need a car if staying here but city centre is close so taxi would be reasonable enough I'd say.

Everything about the hotel, including help at the front desk, is great. The bar is patronised by very friendly locals.
