Although not too close to the center of Dunedin, we found some really nice trails nearby to run on in the morning. We were only there for one night, so the hotel was fine for what we needed. Our main complaint was that the water temperature in the shower fluctuated extremely.
The lodge was a pleasant surprise as it was better then the photos and description in the ad. A real value and comfortable to stay at!
Very pleasant stay, helpful & friendly
An adequate motel-like accomodation 8 min drive from the Octagon. Clean & comfortable although furnishings are outdated with a musky smell in the entrance hall. Served the purpose of overnight accomodation during New Year period.
Average property about 20min walk to town, 10min to the uni. A little tired and needs a good refirb but value for money
nice compact rooms with all faciliities.Balcony overlooking enclosed garden but no seats provided for sitting out.Good on site restaurant. Only problem was with boy racers congregating at the back of the hotel.about a 30 minute walk into centre of town.
I would stay again especially at the same price.
the room was good. The restaurant wasn't so good. Nothing spectacular.
Good quality hotel. It was fairly hot when we stayed and we found that the traffic noise was very intrusive if we had the windows open (no air conditioning). Staff helpful and a very pleasant restaurant.
Opposite the botanical gardens .. beautiful.
Room overlooked coach park with consequential noise for coaches leaving their engines running.
WOW what a brilliant place to stay. Not only was it great value but we were somehow upgraded to the Corporate Suite which was lovely. Staff were switched on and the location was perfect for getting into the City and highway access. Would recommed to anyone!
Hotel was great overall, staff good too and friendly however the lack of any way of getting a heavy suitcase up the stairs was annoying and would make me stay elsewhere on any further trip to Dunedin even if it was a better price.

Average hotel for price, visit spoilt by fire alarm going off at 0300hrs, but the hotels respose very good.
