Good clean hotel, service was friendly and the central location meant that we could walk to restaurants and shops. Will stay here again.
This hotel was clean and modern, however it was quite noisy. A great location in the cbd, walking distance to everything in Launceston.

Ideal city location enables easy access to any venue. Lovely rooms and beaut reasturant. Only issue was no guarantee of a secure parking spot.
location good staff very pleasant
The Mecure hotel in launceston is by far the best hotel i have stayed in, in Tasmania. Mostly impressed by the friendly staff and the food service available at any time. A very pleasurable stay indeed!!
No air conditioning units in rooms is not acceptable. Most rooms did not have air conditioning.
Don't have aircon, and the window doesn't have flyscreen, so have to close window and use a fan.
Very central location. Bathroom needed a bit of updating although clean. There wasn't any air-conditioning, but this shouldn't matter unless it's hot. FYI, you'll need to pay for parking which was $4 per night.
The bed was fantastic, my Dinner was just what I wanted with not far to go. I would love to stay again
Well appointed and tastefully renovated rooms. The superior king room had the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on in a long time.
Very good place to stay in the city of Launceston. Restaurant was excellent. Rooms good too.
The room was warm when compared to the outside temperature. A heater was provided in the room.
A great location with excellent service and a good quality breakfast. This hotel is very good value for money
first rate except for the main course; steak was excellent but the several pieces of potato scallop , tasting like it was cooked in pig fat and a couple of stalks of sprout was a real let down.
Many stains on carpets, one wall had holes repaired but not repainted. Clothes line boken. Fridge door squeaked really loudly.
Very good hetel. The only issue was that the internet in the rooms was a little slow.
The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Maximum effort was offered to ensure our stay was relaxed and enjoyable. Excellent room service with great cuisine.
Got to the hotel around 8.30pm, late flight. Dinner in the Tram bar was not good. I had the house curry, rice and papadams, my husband ordered fish, chips and salad. My dinner was almost cold and hubby's dinner had no salad but we were tired and didn't complain but both dinners cost $20 plus each and inedible. It was our first night in Tas so didn't want to get off on the wrong foot. Room was comfortable but furniture a bit shabby and not fitting to the 'Deluxe King Bed Suite' description. The biggest annoyance were the church bells which started early in the morning and sounded at regular intervals all day every day. Also, paying for parking while there was not good and in all our time in Tas, this was the only place it happened. The kitchen staff, in their uniforms, smoking in the carpark is not a good look if you are trying to portray a vision of quality and cleanliness.
A convenient location near center of city and rooms well appointed, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Suggest requesting a room with a view on east side of building but all rooms comfortable..
