For some reason, they registered my name wrongly, however, that was cleared up pretty fast. The staff was helpful and the housekeepers were AMAZING! Everything was kept clean and neat. The walls, however, were quite thin, and we could hear the next door guests going in and out of their rooms as well as the toilet flushing.
Checked in late and staff were very helpful. Gave us a great deal. So close to the station that we didn't use car the whole time! Will definitley be staying there again!

CLEAN,COMFORTABLE HOTEL IN A VERY GOOD POSITION FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT.EFFICIENT STAFF. NO FREE INTERNET AND PRICES TO LOG ON WERE OVER THE TOP $10 FOR AN HOUR!!!!
A nice basic hotel for a big city. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. One of the meals with ordered through room service was vile but the lasagne was yum. I do think it was a lot of money for what you got overall.
nice hotel, great location, good facilities including pool and gym. Reception and concierge team are ready willing and able to help - really good service
fantastic treatment and help when a family member was ill
Comfortable, and conveniently located near Central Station.
Good value thru Hotelclub and well located for access to theatre night out
Nice central place to stay in Sydney. Surprisingly quiet in the room given the very central location. I would stay again.
awesome hotel so central to everything, very clean, awesome efficient service would recommend to anyone
Location is the main plus about this hotel. Cant get much closer to Central station. Clean enough, bed comfortable enough, however the room is pretty basic for the price. Staff were pleasant enough, on a busy night. A non-smoking room was requested and confirmed at check in, however the room smelled of smoke, even in the bed in the early hours of the morning. Had room service dinner, it was delivered without cutlery, had to wait another 15 mins for that to come. will try another hotel next time.
Very courteous/professional staff. Front of counter pleasure to deal with. Room very clean, plenty of variety for breakfast with the best bircher muesli I have ever tasted.
Great spot, just a short bus of train trip to anywhere in Sydney. Being so close to Central Station was great. It is only a short walk to Chinatown and Darling Harbour.
Superb Hotel right near to Central Station, and Paddys Market / Chinatown. Excellent Gym. Staff were superb. Cannot recommend enough.
Location great if you need the station or Chinatown. Helpful staff. Downsides - gym treadmill had the beginnings of a belt problem, my bed was more mobile than I wanted, and the lights from the advertising boarding on the next building shone into my 14th floor room. Overall, happy with the stay, which was my second time at this hotel.
Very good, staff helpful, only one grip, we could have done with a few more tea bags and milk. No problem however when we called for a few more. Would stay again.
A nice place in a reasonably accessible area in the Sydney CBD. Solid rather than spectacular in any one department, very good value when the price is right. Breakfast could have been better with variety of food, but overall our stay left little to be desired. Service is a very good plus point, cheers to the staff there.
Enjoyed our stay staff went out of there way service was excellent very friendly and warm enviroment, reasonable cost food was good. we had a great weekend. thanks Mercure
Centrally located in Railway Square, public transport close proximity and walking distance to most city tourist locations Darling Harbour, restaurants etc. Good sized rooms stayed 5 nights in double room with 2 double beds. Would definately stay at hotel again
all is good, except the service attitude and quality of concierge. No greeting,no smile to the guest in the lift, don't press the floor button for the guest, the housekeeping staff use the same lift with guest, even the concierge staff did not know how long it will take from hotel to airport if you want to take an international flight, thus we almost miss our flight.I am so disappointed with this.
