"A really nice hotel (ignore the 60's exterior) that is a short cab ride from the airport. Friendly staff and a spacious, well appointed room makes it ideal for a short stay. There are no shops or restaurants nearby so it is best for someone passing through rather than staying." - Paul Simons
"Everything was lovely at this hotel except the Steakhouse restaurant.. it looked lovely, however, the chef needs some help..our steak was dreadful, chewy and tasteless. It should be 'melt in the mouth' and not an effort to eat. Also, the vegetables that come with it, 2 small pieces of corgette and 2 baby tomatoes... that's it! unless you pay for a side order which seems ridiculous considering what you pay for the steak. They also forgot to bring water to our table. We gave up and left promptly. This restaurant and its staff is letting the hotel down. The staff and service outside of the restaurant is exemplary." - Anonymous
"The hotel was good value as in the room facitilies verses the bargain price on the internet but the huge concern was the state of the public areas in particular the lifts - one of the most disgusting sights ever seen - I dont understand why they would not priortise
do something as temp fix - there are many ways around it that

"Decent value for money hotel close to Gatwick Airport. Regular shuttle bus to the terminals cost £3. Not quite as convenient as [other hotels] but at half the cost can have no complaints." - Yvonne Louis
