Mercure Sorbonne Hotel Paris

Its the first hotel that I got a show bag on arrival so to speak we got back pack with water chips and chocolate and a pack of maps and sight seeing in paris great idea could not fault this hotel and breakfast and staff could not do enough for us we will recommend to our friends. thanks Lesley and Stephen Ski we would rate 10 out of 10

It's in the center of the latin quarter. The room is small but very nice. We liked it very much

Fantastic weekend looking across a quiet street at the Sorbonne just before the students started back in September. Got a great deal on the price in late August. Ask for a balcony on the top floor. We got it by chance and tried to go back again this year but couldn't.

Nice location in the Latin Quarter, very nice area and always my prefered hotel. However hotel itself seems to be getting a bit run down, much less "polished"than when I stayed there last time, and no doors on the shower. SMALL! But no smaller than anywhere else in Paris.

Rooms are tidy but small which isn't a problem.The location is awesome...I would have no hesitation in staying at Mercure Sorbonne again.

The hotel was in a good location. The rooms were small buy nicely decorated. There was no restaurant, only a breakfast room and the bar is tiny and located in reception.

We came here with our two children, ages 5 and 2. We stayed in a room which was split level with pull-out bed, tv, and fridge upstairs. It was a bit hot upstairs & both kids slipped down the spiral steps, but we would stay here again. We liked the privacy of having the kids upstairs. The location can't be beat. The lift works well and rooms are quiet. It fit the bill for our family family!

The pictures on the internet site do not accurately reflect the interior of the hotel. It is a lot newer in real life and the location is just perfect. Right near Saint Germain and Notre Dame and a small walk to some of the best restaurants in the Latin Quartier on Rue Moufettard.

The Mercure Paris Sorbonne was clean and sparkling. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Being in the Latin Quarter, the location is also excellent. We had a quad room with a loft. We would stay there again.

The staff was very friendly. The location outstanding and safe. The rooms were nice but the second double bed was a thin pullout couch not a second double as I expected from the reservation information provided. The area had lots of restaurants and easy access ti internet cafes for travellers. Overall a great hotel.

Fantastic quality of service and friendliness of staff. Location excellant, and we will definitely be returning to this hotel again.
