Mercure Sydney Parramatta Hotel

We only need a hotel for a one night stay, but it was for a meeting in the area. So being able to have Free parking and a late check out meant that I could get in with ease and no fuss, save on parking, go to my breakfast meeting and still come back in time for the late check out having changed into more comfortable cloths for the drive home. Clean and tidy and even though we faced the street on the 3 floor not a sound to be heard from below. Mercure....... an industry name you can always trust to deliver the goods. Thanks

Good size room, clean and within walking distance from the Rosehill Event centre, restaurants and a woollies. Very convenient.

Great value for money. An excellent hotel with helpful staff, excellent amenities and a convenient location - handy to train station and shopping. The room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. Parking was available.

Great location, great room with view of Rose Hill race course and the city. Bowling club next door for great buffet dinner. Excellent value.

As don't come to Sydney very often wish to especially like to thank Front of House Staff that were on on Friday Night for the way that she went out of her way to assist a country person who was lost. Due to been given the wrong address on my print out of booking sheet and getting lost and ending up at wrong venue Westmead instead of Rosehill. When finally found number directed me to location and was most helpful on my arrival. As due to unforseen cercumstances had to stay and extra night the person made me feel that it was no problem and all staff that I came into contact made me feel as though I was a VIP. I wish to send my congratulations to you and the staff on havubg such a friendly team.

We booked a Junior Suite which was exactly what we ordered. The fault with the room was that it was directly behind the lift shaft and we had the constant noise of the lift for the 24 hours we were there. Also, for some reason the rooms are not very sound proof. You could hear everything very clearly from people talking waiting to get into the lift and also from other rooms!

I stayed here overnight for business. The room was fairly standard. All four pillows were thin and too soft which made for a restless night's sleep. I had to call to ask for more milk as there was only one pod in the fridge. I ordered room service for dinner which took an hour to arrive after being told it would be about half an hour.

Room was nice and good size. Front desk staff were very ordinary and acted like the simplest request was a drama, not that approachable or knowledgable. Location not that great but if you have a car then the free parking makes up for that.

This hotel is good for a night or two. Bathroom needs renovation as there is no exhaust fan so it smells in and out. it is not in the 4 star quality and standard. Bathroom towels were dirty. no internet which is a really disadvantage of this hotel. If you have a car then location will not be an issue but for walkers its too far from shopping centres. good thing is that woolies suppermarket, maccers, KFC and red roosters are opposite to the hotel so who are junk food eaters will enjoy stay at this hotel.

Lovely, helpful staff. Nice looking pool and spa. Air con was not working and we needed to be moved, but staff were great with changing us.

Was good for a short business stay. A little too far from restaurants district but if happy with fast food or hotel food then okay.

Very friendly staff. A bit expensive though being so far out of town and not walkable to Church st area.

Rooms are clean & modern with the usual inclusions. It's not located in the heart of Parramatta so no walking to cafes & restaurants, but they're only a short 5 minute taxi away. Lobby decor & front entry could be updated, as could the carpark be painted.

Chose this hotel for ease and location. It suited us, but wouldn't suit anyone looking for "Nightlife" activities. Can't believe that all hotels don't provide free Wifi, (no problem) just over road to McDonalds to buy a drink and use free wifi.

Location too far away from Parramatta CBD: at least a 15-20 minute walk. Not much point in taking the car because of parking restrictions. No local bus services the area!

We were keen to eat dinner in the restaurant BUT had our meal elsewhere as we found the price of the wine & meals very overpriced & the menu on offer was too fancy for our tastes. Breakfast however was very good indeed with extremely good service from the staff on duty. The service from the booking in desk was also friendly & efficient.

Very quiet, lovely breakfast - you can even eat outside. Free newspaper. Effortless check in. Close to Parramatta Bowling club where we had a great buffet dinner on Sunday for $21 each. Free parking. We will stay here again.

Check in & out was quick & efficient. Rooms clean & tidy as expected. Plenty of towels, and chilled water glasses. Small flat screen TV is a welcome update from similar hotels with old CRT TVs. The chair & footstool were quite comfy too. Close to Rosehill Racecourse but quite a distance from Parramatta CBD.

Wonderful helpful staff, terrific restaurant dining. Thanks, will stay again.
