The Meridiana is a charming and modern three stars hotel that has been completly renovated in 2002. Hotel Meridiana has at its guests disposal 67 rooms of different sizes and typologies in order to satisfy any clients' request. In fact you can choose among single, double, twin or triple rooms depending on your needs. The 67 rooms are well kept and contain all modern comforts including private en suite facilities, hair dryer, air conditioning and heating, double paned windows and satellite TV. Handicapped rooms are also available on request as well as rooms either with balcony or terrace.

Getting there:Hotel Meridiana is located within short walking distance from Florence city centre. Jus behind Il Parterre, the biggest parking in the the town and the nearest one to the city centre that is still possible to reach without a special pass (the centre is not allowed with car to the non residents and most of the people have to leave the car at this parking and then join the city centre walking). Piazza della Libertà is only 4 blocks away and within 5 minutes you will be in Piazza San Marco and in 7 minutes you can reach Duomo square. The area is plenty os restaurants and caffees and it is very well comunicated with the rest of the city. The Fortezza and the congress centre are only 5 minutes away.

Car parking:Jus behind the hotel there is the biggest parking in the the town and the nearest one to the city centre that is still possible to reach without a special pass (the centre is not allowed with car to the non residents and most of the people have to leave the car at this parking and then join the city centre walking). Dayly charge is 15,00 euros per 24 hours.
Child Policy:Children up to 2 years are free sharing parent's room From 2 to 12 years in parents room are discounted by 50% on triple supplement.
we really enjoyed the stay but it is a bit expensive for us. The place is nice, nice breakfast but there is a parking problem if you come with a car. public transportation is next to the hotel
The hotel was actually further away from the city centre than thought. Have to hike it in on a bus which has a stop about 500m away. This made it abit inconvinent. Breakfast was average...nothing special. Staff was nice though. No free internet
We enjoyed the stay very much. The was a great problem of parking. There should be asuitable parking arrangement with the nearby parking lot.
We loved this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They greeted my 16 year old on his birthday with a Happy Birthday. The rooms did not smell, breakfast was very filling and lots of it. The hotel was quiet as well.
