Mermaid Beachside B & B Gold Coast

I stayed in the Mediterranean room which was gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable and the host and other guests were great company around the breakfast table. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Made to feel welcome and looked after. Delicious cooked breakfast. Only one street back from the beach.

The owner is very friendly and nice. Room is beautiful. Breakfast is great! Just beware the under cover carpark is very steep.

Roz made us feel quite at home, the B & B is in walking distance to the beach, and is in a handy location to other places of interest. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend the place. Roz has done a great job in the presentation, as you know, you only get one first impression.

We had a lovely time staying here. The room was very tidy and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was extremely clean. What a greaat place to stay, I'd go back again, definitely.

Our Australiana Room had an adjoining balcony to relax on. The area was very peaceful. Our breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit, boiled eggs by request! Our hostess was a gem and made us feel very welcome, even contacting us to offer us early check-in if we were nearby.

If you are after the traditional bed and breakfast of past times where you settle in immediately due to the warm hospitality and feel that you are visiting a long lost friend or aunty then this is the place for you. Ros made us feel so welcome that I wish I had another night there instead of the cold unfamiliar resort I stayed in next. Thanks ... Great place...

We needed a place to chill out after a very busy week. This B&B turned out to be perfect. Very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated (we stayed in the English Room) and the location was fantastic - a short stroll to a patrolled beach that was very quiet by Gold Coast standards. On our host's advice, we walked two blocks to dinner with a great selection available. We took their advice - (local knowledge) and had a great Thai meal. Breakfast was great with choices and we were made to feel like old friends. Would definately go back there again.

Mermaid Beachside B & B Gold Coast was a delightful place to stay. Every comfort had been attended to, the place was immaculate and you were made to feel so welcome, really, just like home. Having your own ensuite was a bonus, as were the facilities for making cups of tea etc. The location was great, close to the beach and within walking distance of Pacific Fair (20 minutes). The breakfast that Ros cooked was delicious, I would love to go back and stay for an extended period.
