Metro Apartments On Bank Place Melbourne

A great location to get to everything in a beautiful little lane...very quaint...we loved it.

I enjoy my stay the rooms are basic but the location is great.

the staff are very helpfull and its is in a great locaton thanks for the great stay

Room was small but clean & practical which suited our purpose for this particualr trip.

Tiny room but clean and had everything I need. Great location on top of the Curry place, near the Mitre pub and excellent cafes next door. I reckon it might get noisy of Friday/Saturday but fine midweek. Good value.

I would like to stay in this serviced APT(hotel) again in future.

Great spot for shopping but very noisy for sleeping. Carpet was very dirty when walking with no shoes on it.

Rooms are fairly clean, bed was average and facilities are somewhat dated - towels shouls be replaced as they are like sandpaper. Also situated next to a very noisy nightclub.

Tiny little rooms, yet they serve their purpose as a cosy overnight stay. Very good location & easy accessibility to almost everything, quiet considering this too.

A very central no hassle location.

Small bedroom/bathroom, didn't like the shower over the bath that could only be entered from the short end. Lounge and kitchen had comfortable lounges, adequate kitchen equipment. Washer/dryer didn't dry or spin properly even after repair man arrived. Luckily there is free washer/dryer avail.

Manager & reception staff very happy/ friendly team. Great location in Paris type lane with many eating places in close vicinity. Top Restaurant Vue De Monde almost opposite in Little Collins Street Highly recommended for location relevant to C.B.D. Trams & Southern Cross Bus/ Train Depot in Spencer St.

Very small for an apartment. Noisy at night/morning.

Basic place with very small rooms but good service, clean and tidy, great location. Ideal for a short stay where you will not be in the room much, good value for money.

Basic room very small but satisfactory. A desk lamp would assist. Very noisy location with trucks collecting rubbish at 4.30 am

Fantastic location within walking distance from Southern Cross and the Collins St trams. A little noisy on Saturday night as nightclub within vicinity of apartments. key would be to request an upper floor apartment. Facilities were clean and the apartment had everything we needed. This was our 2nd stay here and we will definitely stay at Metro again. Value for money!!!!

I think that the Metro Apartments need to double glaze their windows or provide some sort of sound proofing. We were given an apartment on level 2 and were totally unable to get any sleep on either of the nights we stayed there. The noise from the bars, clubs etc downstairs was just too much. The location of this hotel is quite good they just really need to do something about the horrendous noise.

Basic but clean and functional apartments or studio apartments in a central location. Basic 2-ring electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, iron, ironing board, cutlery etc. Wall-mounted hand pump for shampoo and soap in the bathroom makes the place feel a bit cheap. Old building with lift. Decor and furniture is old (dark brown wood) but functional. Some of the room shapes can be a bit odd. The split system air conditioner only seems to re-circulate the air and the windows don't open so the air in the room can get a bit stale. Can't get signal for Optus wireless broadband in the ground floor rooms but there is a small work area next to reception with a computer. Excellent central location and reasonably priced.

Cramped room barely larger than the bed with an equally cramped ensuite. Bank Place is noisy all night due to clubs/pubs in the area - get a room at the back!
