Right across the road is the infamous Slip Inn, where a simple Australian girl from Tasmania named Mary, met a handsome Danish Prince called Fredrick. They married and Mary is now the Crown Princess of Denmark. So fairytales can come true with a little help from the magic of Sydney.
This property has a strict "No Party" policy for the comfort all guests. Only registered guests are permitted in the property after 10.00pm.
PLEASE NOTE: There are approximately 12 steep stairs leading into the property.

The central city location provides convenient access to all forms of public transport. An airport transfer bus can be caught from outside the airport right to the door.
Closest train stations to the hotel are Wynyard and Town Hall. Driving from Sydney International or Domestic Airport (SYD): The best route is to take the Eastern Distributor Motorway and then the Cross City Tunnel (toll cost of AU$6.50). Exit left onto William Street and continue along this road, crossing over George Street (with the Town Hall on the left and the Queen Victoria Building on the right). You can turn right onto either Clarence or Kent Street and travel north until the intersection at traffic lights with Erskine Street. Turn left here and then left again into Sussex Street, which is one way travelling south. The Sussex Street reception is approximately 400 metres (one block) on the corner of King and Sussex Street.

Photo identification and a valid credit card are required on arrival. This property does not accept cash bonds.
Check in time is 2.00pm, you are welcome to leave your bags in foyer and check out time is by 10.00am. There are approximately 12 steep stairs leading into the building.

Metro Apartments have a discount agreement with a Public Parking Station at 170 Sussex Street (Rear on 383 Kent Street). It is the first carpark on the left hand side after passing the property. The current rate is $30.00 per 24 hour period. (Car park is not open 24 hours) Simply have reception validate your parking ticket before you return to the parking station. Rate applicable at time of writing.
