Metro Hotel London

I was impressed by the cleanliness and by the service. Very good value for money.

Very close and convenient to both Paddington rail and tube stations. Breakfast delivered right to the door and always a friendly greeting when I arrived or left. The bathrooms are very clean and even with a full house I never had to wait for a shower or toilet. The stairs are killer if you have a big bag though, so take advantage of the help they offer. I was very pleased for the price.

This place was a great find. The young owners were extremely nice.The location and prices were great as well. My only complaint would be the narrow flights of stairs (big luggage beware!) and the shotty internet connection.

Cheap but central. The Circle line of the Underground goes under the hotel and can be heard from the rooms on the lower floors so expect a wake up call at about 4.30 when the first train runs :-) unless u are a heavy sleeper.

stuffs were all friendly and helpful. there was no lift but they helped me to bring my luggage to my room.

The corridoors were being painted when we arrived, so the whole building smelt of drying paint. The room was not an en suite- instead there was one bathroom to the floor (3 rooms). The bed was not great, but all in all for the price we paid the stay was not bad.

Cheap and cheerful hotel. I only saw one (very friendly) person, who seemed to be doing all the work. Bed was clean and comfortable, and room had always been tidied when I got back. Breakfast (served in room, as there is no restaurant) was basic but ok - perhaps some attention could be paid to presentation. Bathroom was very basic, but there was a selection to choose from! Overall, perfectly adequate - you get what you pay for, and @ £35 per night, for London, I didn't pay very much.

We found the Metro value for money, location was very good for central London.Breakfast was also okay as I said it was better than nothing.

Ideal budget hotel in a great central location - stones throw from Paddington station. Accomodation and facilities are basic but so is the price. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. I will definately use this hotel again.

Rather basic accomodation. Reasonably clean. Some noise from the street during the night, but the service was quite all right. Location is great, right next to Paddington Station

Not the most beautiful hotel, but it´s clean, very close to Paddington station and the staff is nice. Good value for money.

For the price, the hotel was attractive and in a superb location for our needs.

I stayed only 3 nights at this hotel, but it was very good.The location of this hotel is perfect, so you don't have to spend too much money/time for travel into the center of the city. I think this is the biggest advantage of this place!

The breakfast is good, the location fairly convenient, and the prices cheap for London.
