Our beautifully refurbished Superior Deluxe and King Spa rooms are spacious and our top of the range options. These are perfect for the long stay travellers or just for that special weekend away. And if you are travelling with a third person or a child our Executive Deluxe Rooms have a convenient separated lounge area with a sofa bed (charges apply) for extra comfort and privacy. All rooms have high speed Internet connection and for guests travelling without a laptop we also have an Internet Kiosk located in the lobby area (charges apply). Security is our priority, with a 24 hour staffed reception desk and all guest floors accessed only by personal security key card. Guests will also be able to take a breath of fresh air and enjoy a smoke free environment when they stay at the Metro Hotel on Pitt, which is now a 100% smoke free hotel.

Getting there:Guests are spoilt for choice with transport options as Town Hall Station and Central Railway Station and Coach Terminal both just a short walk away; the city Monorail service is only a few footsteps from the hotel. Buses to all parts of the city are only one block away on George Street offering easy access to Circular Quay and the Rocks. Taxis: An easy option from the Airport directly to the Hotel. Please mention Metro Hotel on Pitt at 300 Pitt Street. Train: The closest station is Town Hall Station located a few minutes walk from the Hotel. For prices and more information please check the website www.aiportlink.com.au. Shuttle Bus: We do not provide shuttle bus service from the Airport to the Hotel. When you land at the airport, ask the information centre to direct you to a shuttle bus company. Once you arrive at the Hotel, a receptionist will be able to organise your return via shuttle bus (please give 24H notice) (Charges apply).
Check-in Procedure:Our check in time is at 14:00H and check out at 11:00H. We do not guarantee early check in, it will depend if the room is ready earlier; however, we can always store the luggage for guests until the room is available. Upon check-in we require a credit card pre-authorisation or $100 cash deposit to cover incidentals. A valid Photo ID is also required. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: From 1 July 2011, charges will apply to guests finalising accounts with credit card.
Car parking:Secure under cover car parking is available OFF-SITE at the World Square Car Park (located on the corner of Goulburn and Pitt St). The rate is $30 per vehicle per night (one entry & one exit). When arriving at the car park please approach the boom gate and collect a ticket. ENSURE YOU RETAIN THE TICKET FOR VALIDATION AT THE HOTEL FRONT DESK. WITHOUT THIS VALIDATED TICKET, A CHARGE OF OVER $71.00 IS PAYABLE DIRECTLY TO THE WORLD SQUARE PARKING STATION ATTENDANT IN ORDER TO EXIT CAR PARK.
Child Policy:Children under 12yo using EXISTING bedding FOC. Any rates including meals are based on paid adults , children meals are NOT included in rates.

Excellent location in CBD, friendly staff, meals in Cafe good. Room small but well furnished, you are only there to sleep!!
Our room was not massive but since we did not spend a lot of time there it did not matter. I asked for a room at the back of the hotel so it was a lot quieter than on the street side I'm sure. Good, simple, clean room for the price, would recommend to other guests.

Nice clean and tidy hotel. Good sized bathroom with a huge shower. Just was abit further from Town Hall Train Station than I was expecting. But excellent value for a night in the city.
We had a superior Queen sized room but it was no bigger than an ordinary hotel room and once we got the porta cot in, it was very squashy! The room was exceptionally clean, and the downstairs restaurant was very reasonably priced and the food was great. Would stay again if just me and my husband but not with a baby in tow!
An older style hotel but with reasonable rooms and reasonable ensuite. I was given a room at the back of the hotel but I think if you've got a room at the front of the hotel the noise from the monorail may eat too much to withstand. However the location is great, as it is right in the middle of the CBD and walking distance to town Hall station and Museum Station
This is not against Metro but all hotels, when you pay for a room per day (or let's say a night), you don;t get a full 24 hours of accommodation. I think a checkout of 12pm would be much better, as this not only gives you better value for money, but allows you to get your self organised in the morning wthout rushing.
The hotel staff at reception are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Unfortunately we found the hotel hard to find, we walked from a parking station. A more visable sigh would be helpful.
I did not feel the nice smile in the receiption as other hotels we lived in australia. when we asked the location of YHA,they could not tell us the exact location,where we finally figure it out not too hardly from the map. we told the reception that the security box in the room did not work once we checked in,and told them the next morning again,while until we checked out the security box was out of use for us. All in all,the only value i feel for this hotel is the good location in the central sydney.
Shocked to discover that there was no wifi in the rooms
Suit us very well location re medical visist to Sydney. Disappointed a we need to stay about 5 to 6 days early November re going into hospital but couldn't give me a good rates.
Surprisingly no wifi - first room was a standard queen room and very small, second room was a superior queen, and much better.
