Stayed here for 3 nights had to ask at 3.30pm on the second day could we please have our room cleaned. No apologies whatsoever. Great location thats it.
I stayed at this hotel during Sep 2010. I am new to Perth so I had some problem to find this hotel with a car. Anyway, the rooms are a surprise! The room is big, clean, and the view to the city is fantastic! The carpark is free, but you definitely need to have a car because the location is not convenience.
The floor leading from the bathroom is actually a health and safety issue as I slipped a few times myself. Other than that the staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean.
Got a good price - which meant a cheap room, no ironing board, torn furnishings, didnt clean properly in between days, but the price was good and we love the location. Wish the breakfasts were better very cheap and nasty
I have stayed often at this hotel over the years. Its location and car parking are ideal for my usual reasons for being in Perth. I had ceased to stay there because it was obviously deteriorating, but now pleased to note its recent upgrade/modernisation. Room was spacious and quiet (facing away from the highway). Now very happy with the Metro.
A bit over priced for the facilities. Booked a room for 3 adults and was first given a room with only a queen bed. Rectified fairly quickly but still given a room with bedding for 4 but towels, cups etc for only 2. When asked extra was supplied. Br prices a bit over the top.
It is highly recommendable if you are looking for a hotel to stay while visiting Perth. Big room and etremely clean. Just 5 mins away (driving) from the city. I will choose this hotel again in my future visit to Perth.
Recent refurbishing was very fresh, bright and modern
This was our second stay at the Metro. First time we had hill views, this time we had city views and they were amazing. The room was great, loved the decor, clean and comfortable and a very reasonable price. Staff were very helpful.
I enjoyed the stay, nice break no children only complaints the beds weren't comfortable with the zipper in the middle and the breakfast was disgusting not worth the money paid, bacon was dry, beans not inviting, mushrooms shrivelled to non edible state, but the cup of tea my husband was nice and so was the juice, but still not impressed with the breakfast.
Nice big room with city view. Bus stop next to the hotel, allthough only one line going to city.
Initial room was not cleaned so when we complainded were allocated a nice balcony room with wonderful views.
friday till sunday, piece of biscuit and lolly on floor. Dirty drawers in bath room. Left drawers open so they could see.Only had two bath towels one towel on the second day had to get another sent up, took about an hour. no hand towels. Room booklet says they can arrange a rental car delivered to hotel. went to reception to organise a car they were blank didn't appear to understand what we wanted and gave us a tourist book which had some rental companies advertised. After they rang four different companies we gave up.We needed one for a day as most of our time was spent at organised functions we wanted to see my niece on our last day in Perth. We went downstairs to see friends off at 8.50 and then went back to our room. Cleaners were in the room had stripped the bed when we walked back in. My husband asked what time was check out, they said '10a.m.' He then asked what was the time, reply '9a.m.' so he told then to get out and close the door after them.
out of 4 stays i have had crook bed 2 nights and good the other 2 nights.
Got a deal for $103 a night which for the location is great. Got upgraded to a river room which was good as the rooms on the highway side are nosiy. So cant complain for the price it was great.
was on the second floor at the end of corridor very noisy much cleaner than last time newly renovated looks good shower didnt drain staff not helpful
the rooms are now sensaational and we will certainly return. The view is just as good as it always has been. Will be great when all the renovation has been finished A1Plus Plus!!!!!!!!!!
Very convenient location for my need. Once I got used to sleeping with traffic noise I enjoyed my stay. Now I'm home I really appreciate my living in a quiet country area!!
