Standard room located on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor. Three types of bedding configuration are available on the Standard River. 1st and 2nd floor (3x Single beds) 3rd (Queen+single bed0 and 4th floor (2x Queen beds). Subject to availability. Rate is based on Twin share. Third adult charged at $40.00 on existing bedding payable direct to hotel. Swan rooms are on the first and second floors of the hotel and contain a fridge, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. In-house movies, foxtel and complimentary parking are provided for all guests.

Executive Rooms overlook the Swan River and City Skyline. Enjoy the view from your own private balcony while watching the sunset and the sunrise. Located on the 8th, 9th and 10th floor. All rooms contain a Queen Size bed and sofa bed. Rate is based on two persons sharing,. Extra adults are $40 per night. Please request the sofa bed to be made up if required.

"I have stayed at the Metro twice in the last 6 weeks (7 nights). The hotel has enormous potential with excellent views & offers a good cooked breakfast. More fresh fruit rather than canned fruit could improve it. Hotel is located out of town but with excellent parking. To visit local restaurants you need a car or cab. Next door is a great Irish Pub.
Rooms are a reasonable size, but beds need replacing - lumpy mattress. Rooms have data ports, but suffer from seriously inadequate lighting, not enough light to read in bed and no lighting over large work table in room.
Hotel suffers from poor managment and follow up. Problems have included inadequate towels, inadequate coat hangers, toilets not being cleaned, no toilet brush for basic hygiene, no soap or shower gel in shower. Each time a problem has occured I have had to ask several times to get the problem corrected. With some key people changes or closer management I am sure these sort of issues could be easily overcomed.

"Excellent location for people wanting to be outside the city centre but have easy access to it. Regular bus service picks up right outside. Well priced and comfortable rooms. Only complaint I would have is being visitors from the country, we wished to stay in and watch TV one night and there is no adequate ABC reception, the main programming favouring sports lovers which we are not." - Anonymous

Earlt check-in's (before 2pm) & Late check-out's (after 10am) will incur a $50 fee. |
