Metro Inn Miranda has 38, 3½ star guest rooms. Each of the well appointed rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, television, radio, iron and ironing board, refrigerator, hairdryer, telephone, and ensuite. Situated on the highest point of Miranda, Metro Inn boasts spectacular views over Sydney City and Botany Bay from some of the rooms. The Metro Inn Miranda has a strict non smoking policy in the rooms, however each room has a balcony that guests can smoke on. Room Service Breakfasts are available and guests have the choice of a delicious continental breakfast. Miranda's Westfield's shopping centre, one of Australia's largest shopping and entertainment centres is adjacent to the Metro Inn Miranda and is easily accessible from the motel. Getting there:Take a train from the city direct to Miranda on the Cronulla – Bondi Junction Line. Miranda is approx. 45 minutes south of Sydney’s Central Station. The Miranda Train Station is approx. 3 mins walk to the motel. Change at Wolli Creek if catching the train from the airport. Approx. a twenty minute drive from Sydney Airport. A shuttle service is available and must be booked in advance. UBD reference: Map 333, M.4 in the 2008 Sydney UBD Street Directory. The driveway is located on Jackson Avenue.
Check-in Procedure:A vaild credit card must be presented at check in along with photo id. Cash bonds will NOT be accepted. Please contact the property directly if you will be later than 9pm.
Car parking:Complimentary off street parking is available to all guests. The driveway is accessible from Jackson Avenue.
Child Policy:1 Child 0 - 11 years per room is free of charge if using existing bedding configuration, otherwise an extra person charge of $40.00 per person, per night will apply. Maximum of 3 guests per standard room.
The Metro Inn Miranda was a good location for us for what we needed at the time. The room was comfortable and clean and the facilities were sufficient also. I would stay at this property again. Handy to Miranda Fair shopping centre.

when i called sayin i should be at the hotel at 7 the lady seemed friendly nd was willin to listen but then again wen i was running late from work nd ringing to confirm that i was still comin i was jst running late the lady seemed cranky but trying to be nice and all she said was that "reception closes at 9"

The accomodation was adequate as it was the one of few hotels near our work. A little bit disappointed that when i had a shower late at night, there was not any hot water.
The Metro Inn Miranda was in a good location for us, close to the railway station and other facilities that we needed to access, not having vehicular transport. The management made exceptional efforts to ensure that everyone had a pleasant stay by encouraging all residents to respect the needs of others to enjoy a quiet peaceful stay.

The hotel is tired but clean. It is well located to Miranda Fair and central to everything else in the shire.
The only issue I have is that by squeezing in TWO queen size beds into a small room, there was no room to move, and it was difficult to even get into bed!! One queen or two singles is enough in that sized room. This problem would probably stop me rebooking with this hotel, and yet it is the only fault I found!
My 2 sisters & myself stayed at the hotel for 14 hours @ $68.70 each it served its purpose.
Good for convenience to shopping and transport. Staff are very obliging. Reassuring because it insists on respect for guests by asking all guests to be considerate when using their facilities i.e not making too much noise. Right place for those requiring comfortable accommodation with good security.
Handy location just across the road from a major shopping complex and 5 minutes walk from train station. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Good parking facilities which are needed because street parking so close to Westfield is very difficult.
A central location to stay in the Sutherland Shire. Rooms pplain but pleasant and clean, located close to shops and restaurants and 5 kms to beach.
It is so close and convenient to Westfield and the train station,we never had to drive anywhere!We could just walk to whatever we needed.Will definately stay again.

Very friendly, nice people. There were too many beds in room very tight for room. Great having balcony for smokers will stay there again.
Not 'flash' but good basic accomodation and not expensive-good value for the area.
We enjoyed our stay at Metro,all the above have been ticked as very good,the only comment that I would make is that the lack of lighting above the Tea/Coffee cupboard is inconvenient,and the only light comes from the ensuite. We will stay again next trip to Sydney Gerald Lipscombe Hawthorn Vic.
