Staff are really great. Continental breakfast could be better. The rooms need to be refurbished. The beds are very comfortable & it was nice to arrive with the room nice and warm.
Room was adequate although bathroom fittings old and shower head loose and would not stay up - very annoying. Carpet badly stained as well.

Had a great stay. It's a basic hotel, but for the money I was paying, that's what I expected. I stayed for a week with me 7 week old baby. Cot was all made up when I got there. Plenty of free parking, had a laundry on site, fridge and kettle in room (good when you have a baby), staff were friendly, great location. Plenty of hot water for a shower. I would definatley stay there again. They just need wireless internet. And it would be good if the restaurant was open on weekends and did room service for breakfast.
Older place but neat and tidy. Excellent value for money with fast and friendly service. The food was great also.
Room service for the evening meal was excellent and the food was very goo. Compliments to the chef and staff. However there were some noisy guests and the sounds from the adjacent bathroom late at night were somewhat annoying.
Great staff, welcoming and most obliging. Hot water problems and in some rooms no water pressure in the showers. Very quiet and centrally located to most things like the City,Olympic Park, Parramatta. Tea and Coffee making only, no microwave or toasters. Would stay there again.
Good value motel - showing its age a bit - but nice to have parking & access to rooms with the family - and a pool. Good location for lower north shore / Ryde area.
Convenient location in the northern side of Sydney. Good value breakfast.
Staff were friendly and helpful. They had quite a reasonable crowd for breakfast and coped well.
In the price range it was clean , tidy and a short travel time from sydney olympic park. I would stay there again.PS. Australia.

I love Metro Inn. It has the right location for me. A good in-house meal offer and a nice pool area for hot days. This is a very basic motel at the right price.

Pretty good for the price.
FOXTEL only had a few channels;sports, hallmark and FOX8, no movies. Otherwise pleasant stay in older style hotel.
Bathroom very poky, too small for compror for a larger person other wise great for an overnight stay.
Stayed 2 nights at Metro Inn Ryde, good location, big car parking area, room is clean, close to local railway (15 minutes walk)and about 25 minutes walk to ferry dock, breakfast and meal are bid expensive but there are alot of small restaurants can be found along Victoria Road. Recommended.
We found the Motel though older style to be clean and very comfortable and their dining facilities were excellent.
Pleasant place to stay, friendly and very helpful staff.
