Melways map 2C A11 - Metropole Hotel Apartments and Conference Centre is easy to locate, being at the city end of Brunswick Street, between Victoria Parade and Gertrude Street. The property is well signed and all taxi companies are familiar with the hotel.
If you are driving from the airport, simply take the freeway into the city, taking the Flemington Road turn off, don't be distracted by the big yellow beam across the road or you'll miss the exit/ Then follow Flemington Road into the city and turn left at Victoria Street on the city fringe. Continue travelling until you pass St Vincents Hospital, turn left into Brunswick Street. Metropole is on your right a little before the next intersection.
Alternatively, Star Bus will pick you up or drop you at our front door for $17.50 per person.
A taxi will cost you between $45 to $55 depending on the time of day you travel. |
