Metropole Hotel Ho Chi Minh City

I was a guest on the last night it was open. Shame to hear it was to be pulled down.

Very friendly staff in all areas. travel advice very good and service very good. Much cheaper outside of the hotel but if you want hassle free get them to organise it.

It is an OK Hotel if you want a medium rated Hotel for lower price slightly outside the city center. You must take a Taxi when ever you want to go to a international style restaurant.

Service, facilities and value-for-money are good for a hotel of this class. Location is not wonderful but central and convenient enough. Breakfast is reasonably good. Two major minuses: hot, stuffy un-airconditioned corridor and no free Wi-Fi in room.

Not a new hotel but it is ok.

The Metropole Hotel was a really nice change from the other accomodations we had stayed in during our time in HCM. The staff we very profesional and the room was realy clean and comfortable.

This hotel is in a very busy area with constant road traffic on both sides. Our room was an internal one with no view apart from the internal open area, however it was very quiet. The staff were friendly and obliging. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate and other meals in the restaurant inexpensive and of good quality. The hotel is one of a group that includes the Liberty Hotels. I was advised by the front desk manager that the Metropole Hotel will be refurbished, starting in October 2010. A reasonably priced and comfortable hotel in a central and interesting location.

I would stay here again, Service was excellent, staff very friendly, food excellent. The is one of the best value hotels I've stayed at. I will book it again on my next visit to HCM

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, lovely (smallish) pool and comfortable rooms. Best beds we slept on in 11 weeks in SE Asia.

Decent value for the price. Breakfast was pretty good and the hotel is quite close to the markets and the sights in District 1.

We enjoyed our stay the staff from front desk to restaurant to room service were all great I would rate this hotel 10/10 looking forwad to staying again.

Nice hotel with bar/swimming pool, fitness, massage, busines center, taxi and airport shuttle. Staff is always willing to serve you. Will book there again next time we have to stay in HCMC.

The service was outstanding, the staff were the friendliest we've ever come across and were extremely helpful in all areas, including the organization of tours etc. Couldn't have been any happier!

The service here is friendly and prompt. The room is big. If you stay there, try their sandwiches. My gosh, they are good, in fact so good that I had them for 3 meals. Strongly recommended. Definite to stay in this hotel in the next trip.
