"Nice hotel on Rossio. Our back room not much view but very quiet. We booked a double bed and got two singles. All transport within a minute or two and airport bus outside. Breakfast very good. Staff friendly. Would stay there again." - John Murnane


"Great location right on the town square - opening balconies on levels 2 to 4 that really add to the atmosphere. Not noisy at all, surprisingly, with restaurants directly below. "An older, small, hotel in an excellent location right in the centre of the old town. Steps up to lobby a bit awkward. Try to get a room on the 4th or 5th floors for the view and reduced noise. Could do with a face lift but overall a pleasant experience to stay here." - John Hamill


"The hotel is in a very good location close to all main attractions (Bairro Alto, Castle, tram/bus tour stops etc). The only complain I have it's that the room was smelly, probably because of the old pipes in the toilet. We were lucky that the weather was nice and we could keep the windows open all the time.
