"A major problem with the lack of hot water on 2 days of our 3 day stay. They advised us to run the water for 10 minutes to gain hot water and eventually sent a man to fiddle with the taps. Not really acceptable in a hotel of this kind. Helpful staff and good sized room, uninspired overpriced breakfast but plenty of chinese alternatives nearby." - Anonymous

"Complaints:
The bathroom was not cleaned properly during our 5 night stay.
To obtain hot water for the handbasin or shower, it was necessary to run the hot water tap for 15-30 minutes before use.
My husband and I were charged 20 RMB each for a staff member to make one telephone call to confirm our airline bookings.
Compliments:
The art deco style of the hotel is very attractive.
The coffee shop/lobby bar is a pleasant place to meet with friends.
Our 3rd floor corner room gave us a fascinating view of the pedestrian and vehicle traffic below. " - Anonymous
