Check-in Procedure:Guests are required to present a valid credit card for pre-authorisation upon check-in. If the guest would prefer to pay by cash, accomodation must be prepaid upon check-in and a $150.00 refundable deposit to cover incidental charges must be supplied. A valid form of photo ID must also be supplied to be photocopied by reception. *** Cancellation Policy: 48 hrs prior to arrival
Car parking:Under-cover car parking facilities are available to our guests free of charge, from 2.00pm- 10.00am, maximum 1 car per room. If another carpark is desired this is charged at $10.00 per day, subject to carpark space availability.
Child Policy:Rollaway beds are available for children at a charge of $30.00 per night per child. Cots are available for a charge of $10.00 per night.
Handy to city centre but a little out of the bustle. Good basic room.

The service was very good and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony and faced east which added to the atmosphere. Ample access to internet pre-paid. Downside, no draught beer available in the bar.
Pretty ordinary Motor Inn that needs some TLC - handy to town though and restaurant OK.
Good reasonably priced accommodation. Bit dated, but clean and friendly.
Nicely refurbished units in a central location - not quite up to the "suite" status they use to name them. Only fault was poor cleaning - bathroom not great on arrival - nor did it improve over stay, bins not emptied in room, etc.
Water pressure in shower was very poor and shower screen was broken. Rooms are basic and in need of a refurb. No onsite restaurant or bar. Not really value for money.
The building is in a good location, close to the heart of Brisbane and its shopping and services, however, the building itself could do with a refurbishment as it is quite dated.

The carpark lot is very small. It's very hard to park if you're driving MVP.
Very positive experience. Clean room, room ready as per our requirements (we needed a cot in there), service good. Great dinner in their restaurant. Next time wouldn't get breakfast as there are heaps of cafes offering cheap breakfast nearby.

A very good place to stay for a few days. Very accesable, close to the city, and friendly management and staff. A touch basic, but everything works and its location and pricing make it a great stay in Brisbane.
Really enjoyed my stay at the Metropolitan Motor Inn! Only stayed for 1 night as i was passing through Brisbane, but would definately stay there again. The hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great! Its in a perfect location only mintues walk from central Brisbane, maybe a km or so. The walk though to city and back is a bit hilly but was all good. Bank and pub across the road and also a bottle O next door if you wanted a couple take home drinks and snacks. Free parking under the hotel was a plus as i had a rental. I bought wifi internet for my laptop, high quality speed, was just what i needed, pricing was the average you get at most Australian hotels. Nice hotel for the price, would defiantely recommend.
My sister and I stayed 6 nights and we were happy with what we were provided with. Our room was near the rear of the motel with less road and people traffic, so we were able to sleep well. The motel is placed at the top of a hill which we didn't mind at all. I would advise if you are into walking and don't mind a hilly walk home, this is the one for you.
