MGSM Executive Hotel & Conference Centre North Ryde

The photos on the web site did not do the room justice only because it was much nicer. The Hotel is within walking distance of both Macquarie Shopping Center and the local train station. The staff were very friendly and the room modern and comfortable. Parking is a bit of a walk to the room but all in all a 4.5 stars out of five. Would definitely stay again and do recommend

If you are expecting professional staff at reception, better go to other hotel. All staff seems like students from Macquarie university and they were chatting even though a customer was in front of them. The inside of hotel looks like a uni rather than a hotel. However, it is just next to a big park in macquarie university, so you can enjoy the view and birds flying. It's quite clean and close from Macquarie university station and shopping centre(about 10-15 mins on foot).

Very nice and clean room. Parking is a little bit far. Bathroom is quite small. However interms of the room itself, very cosy! There's large green lawn and a small lake behind the building, quiet and private. Very close to MQ shopping centre.

Excellent, only complaint and that is very small, carpark is some distance away with no defined walkway. Would happily recommend to anyone.

Nice furnishings and very pleasant accomodations. Restarurant was closed on Sunday. Over-priced for the tiny size rooms. The large flat screen TV was very nice. Parking is 300+ meters from the room. There need signs marking the way to the nearby mall. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel is quite nice, but need to have transport facility to the airport to pick up guests. Please provide also with small small thing that seems to me very important (e.g. umbrella)

The surroundings of park and water view from our window was very restful. the ducks etc added to the atmosphere. Quiet location, close to shops and the city. We would recommend to anyone. Rooms are small, but adequate.

Hotel overall was clean and pleasant with room overlooking University park grounds. Didn't use any of the hotel services, so cannot comment on these. Carpark is a bit of a hike from the hotel.

Fabulous restaurant but very slow service. Waited twenty minutes without eye contact for a menu and another hour for dinner

Clean and well-presented rooms in a northern Sydney bush setting with views of a lake...but during the quieter periods only if the rooms have been made up...otherwise the only rooms that may be available are those at the rear facing the road...

The hotel is part of the Macquarie University campus, is situated on a wildlife reserve, very green, nice for running. 10mins walking distance from a large shopping center and near a business district. Taxi from the airport costs 72 AUD, thought that was quite expensive, however it could have been avoided by taking readily available public transportation. I arrived on a public holiday, and as such not much in the surrounding area was open, hotel staff was helpful in this respect. The hotel restaurant is very good.

Great if business takes you to the North Ryde area. Not convenient to the city but location is very pleasant and quiet.

The hotel located in the University enviroment therefore It is ideal for the business rather than holiday distination

This hotel was perfect for our needs and had the added advantage of being almost deserted, so very quiet! Beautiful outlook over the lake - bunnies, birds, fountain - lovely in a city venue. The restaurant was excellent.
