"I must say that I was quite happy with my stay at the Miami Pension Barcelona. It's in a good location where everything is a metro stop away and considering how inexpensive the room was I definitely hot my money's worth. The rooms are small and the restroom is probably smaller so if you're on the chunky side this hotel is NOT for you. Otherwise if you're just looking for a decent place to stay in Barcelona at a good price I recommend this place. Oh and did I mention the staff was very nice to me? "Address on the reservation is two blocks from the hotel, as another hotel takes care of registration. when you get off the taxi with your bags, you must walk two blocks with your bags to your room." - jerome weiner

"The place was great, the shower was a little peculiar but it was clean and NOT ridiculously tiny! Im not sure why its said that there are prostitutes in the area, I did not see a single one. The location was good, its not to far from La Rambla and there is a laundromat a block away plus good restaurants and cafes all nearby. For the price, you really cant complain!" - Anonymous

Hotel description:

38 rooms hostel situated in the heart of the old city of Barcelona. We have 24 hours reception. All the rooms are en-suite and include air conditioning and central heating.

Pension Miami is very close to variuos points of interest such as Plaça Catalunya, Las Ramblas, Barri Gotic, Port Vell and the Fira de Barcelona, the conventions and congresses center of the city.

Other attractions such as the Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell and Nou Camp are easily accesible by the city's efficient public transport system.

We have an special room for the luggage in case it's needed.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a budget hotel located in El Raval, the Red Light Quarter of Barcelona next to Las Ramblas. Although the hotel is centrally located, just around the hotel some prostitution activity occurs. There is an almost permanent police presence so the safety is not an issue.

Getting there:

We are placed quite close to one of the main train stations in Barcelona called Plaça Catalunya, where you can get a train to the airport which is 20 minutes away. You can also get a taxi or a bus from or to the airport. Bus leaves you in Plaça Catalunya. From there to our hostel there is a 5 minutes walk.
