Everything was as w would wish. The Millennium club was a bit of too much, except that the breakfast without it was outrageously priced at over £15 per person for a very nice buffet. The concierge was a wonderful source of information and assistance. Problems were taken care of almost immediately. All in ll if I were to go back to London I would go back to the same hotel.
A pleasant enough place, but I was splurging a bit and would have liked if in exchange for all that money they'd at least gotten me the sort of room I requested. Neither breakfast nor internet is included in the price and there is no wifi.
Room service was pretty inefficient. They took my room number down incorrectly and therefore I didn't receive my order for over an hour. I had to call to find out where my food was - that was when they told me they had taken my room number down incorrectly! I also thought that the room was pretty basic for a 4-star hotel. I don't think I would rush to stay there again. Stayed there because I was attending a conference at this hotel.
The conceirge sent out bags to the wrong room & I had to speak to the reception twice to find out what was going on as my bags haven't arrived in the room after 1.5hours. One of the guys at the conceirge wasnt particularly helpful & friendly until he realized they made a mistake with the bags. He then insisted the reception gave the wrong room number. Apart from this chaotic experience, the hotel is otherwise ok, great location but a bit worn out.
A busy large clean hotel with good service, facilities and excellent location.
The manager we saw when we arrived at the hotel couldn't understand simple things and got our bookings confused and wasn't really willing to help. The next day, the lady manager was able to get our problems sorted within 2 minutes just via a phone-call.
A great location for exploring London, especially as it is very close to the tube station. A very nice hotel with good facilities & a good price on [this website]. Our only concern was that despite having a confirmation receipt stating we booked a double room, they tried to give us a twin room. Our needs were eventually accommodated, however we were displeased with the attitude of some staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the excellent location would lead us to stay there again.
I have stayed at the Gloucester many times, as I find it to be excellent in every way-all facilities are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the food is excellent and all staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
Fantastic Hotel. They gave us a complimentary upgrade as I'd been there before. Will be back when staying next in London
Nice hotel. Well situated right next to Cloucester Road Underground. Beds were - for us - terribly soft. Sour backs were killing us every morning.
A very good hotel with easy access to all parts of London, especially the West End. Tube just around the corner and Hyde Park with in walking distance. The hotel is a very good hotel, but what you expect for a 4 star hotel. If you catch it at the right time excellent value for money, but prices can vary considerably.
The breakfast buffet wasn't exactly the highest quality breakfast you'll find in London. I suggest you skip it. The room was a bit tight but just fine for a business trip
The first room allocated was very small and not acceptable for the price being charged. A larger room was provided after complaining.
A great hotel in a super location. Very comfortable and staff most helpful and professional. Would use this hotel again.
Very conveniently located and near Gloucester Road Tube station.
