Getting there:Millennium Christchurch is located in the heart of the city. The hotel is situated behind the Cathedral in Cathedral Square.
Check-in Procedure:Check in time is 2.00pm. You will be asked for credit card details for any incidentals.
Car parking:Valet Car Parking is available at $25inc GST per day.
Child Policy:Children under the age of 13 stay on a complimentary basis in Superior Twin Room on existing bedding. Children 14 or over and adults incur extra person charge of $45 including GST.
We had a romantic night as a couple using a discounted room rate. The room was beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy. The room service dinner menu was not as good as we'd hoped - our dishes were quite small for the price (and we eat out a lot, and don't expect half a beast for $10). It was well presented and prompt, but could be better. Breakfast was great and good value for money. Would return for sure, but would probably use Piko Piko restaurant for dinner.

The hotel was fine, but I was unable to get access to the internet in my room. Late night using Wi-Fi in the lobby.
for a Five star hotel Ice in the Fridge would have been good
This hotel is ideally located to the city centre. Unfortunately it is expensive if you have a car as car parking is expensive. I didn't eat at the hotel so I can't speak about that. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

We had a lovely newly refurbished room. Extras such as herbal teas, large mugs, dressing gowns etc were provided - I was just sorry we had only booked one night. Could not fault the booking.

This is what staying in a good hotel should be like but so often falls short of. Friendly, helpful and curteous staff throughout our stay were the highlight. Nice room and an excellent restaurant. Rugby fans celebrating in the Square outside were a bit too noisy!
We have just returned this afternoon from a wonderful holiday in New Zealand. We really enjoyed our stay with you at the Millennium and wish to congratulate you on your very warm welcome. We were taken care of the minute we arrived, our car was garaged until we needed it. The reception was friendly and courteous. The housekeeping was immaculate. We will be contacting our booking agent tomorrow (when we get our breathe back!) and will highly recommend the hotel for other guests. Thank you very much. Lin Williams.
