Millennium Hotel Glasgow Guest Reviews

4 out of 5

Stayed overnight for birthday celebration, staff were helpfull room clean but rather tired, should point out side of hotel nearest Queen Street Station can be annoying hearing platform announcements early morning, overall enjoyable visit glad booked through travel website would not pay full price. Central location very handy.

my first stay and not my last. your staff was excellent and your location is absolutely the best for exploring the beautiful city of Glasgow. i do recomment that you install wifi throughout the building rather than requiring guests to hang in the lobby for access. business travel demands this asset for travel lodging. safety and security controls were noticed and appreciated i moved to the millennium after a brief stay in another hotel with a group i will certainly recommend millennium to my group for next year much better than another hotel about 2 blocks away at a higher price!

Location is right next door to Glasgow Queen Street train station and on George Square. It was easy walking to all places we wished to visit while in Glasgow. Close to good restaurants. Large room in old building. We would be happy to stay here on any future visit to Glasgow.

Location of the hotel was very good for local facilities. However, location of our room was immediately above the dance floor of a very noisy wedding reception. The room was very dated. We did get a good deal through hotel club but we felt we were put in an inferior room to reflect the price we paid.

Had a great one night stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic and check in and check out were very efficient. The room was far bigger and more recently refurbed than expected. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Great big room and great location, but so noisy! the windows do not appear to be double glazed and the noise from the street was almost unbelievable. also had to keep curtains closed because the window was not flush, so a cold draft came through. It's a lovely hotel and service is great, but for 4 stars, I think it really needs some updating. there were cracks in the walls and a massive one in the bath also. The bed was fantastic, so soft and comfortable.

Really good as we got to check in early with no problems. The beds were very comfy and the hotel is in a great central location. Would be even better if there were some brighter lights in the bedroom though.could hear the tannoy from the station but not a major problem. would stay again.

I can’t praise this hotel enough. Great VFM. The location is superb, right in the middle of Glasgow with excellent transport links for anywhere! The hotel is old but it is in good order, the common areas were very clean and had a nice mix of old and new, if I had to complain about anything it would be that the lifts need to be refurbished, they look & feel old. Our room was HUGE, loads of storage, enormous bed, beautiful bathroom, great ventilation, air conditioning & heating & a great view. There was no noise from other rooms. The conservatory is a great place to chill out. Staff are very helpful, friendly & courteous but special mention has to go to Raymond Chalmers the Concierge. Raymond has a natural, confidence inspiring way about him that puts people instantly at ease and fosters trust in him. Nothing is too much trouble, he is intuitive, correctly anticipating our needs on two occasions and he is knowledgeable about the hotel and Glasgow. He really made our stay extra special.

Perfect Location with Lovely staff..really enjoyed my stay here, it is right in the center with loads to do would go back again well worth the money. The hotel is old but this did not bother me at all even though it seems to be a problem with previous reviewers.

A very enjoyable stay. However, don't leave your belongings on top of desks as the maid tidies them away! We had to look in cupboards for ours before we found them!

Location is stunning. Public areas were good but room was very dated (Late 70s). Water pressure in the shower was poor and the mattress was worn and saggy.
