During my visite to the Hotel Millennium i was without any probleme.
The hotel was located perfectly for everything to see in Paris. Upgraded to a suite for television and sitting purposes, however they could never get the television to work after 4 days and 10 calls. It was a technical issue. Beds are for sleeping not watching the news. In the end after some harsh words the up-charge was removed. Room service is very poor and you have to wait at least 1 hour for a bucket of ice. Other than that, I would probably stay at this hotel again.
Stayed four nights. Excellent, central location. Safe area. Close to subway. Clean and comfortable room. Good bathroom. Staff very helpful. Only complaint was the to soft mattress.
An excellent hotel in the heart of the shopping precinct. I would gladly recommend Millennium. The only criticism I have, unfortunately common, is that there is no free Wi-fi. In this day and age, I think it should be able to be taken for granted in all hotels.
Brilliant location for sightseeing and very comfortable rooms. If you eat in the last half of the breakfast time there is often far less choice as things used up are not always replaced. Cleaning of room was excellent but housekeeping left something out every single time which had to be sent for - a little annoying and certainly not expected in a hotel of this standard. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Beautiful old hotel with attentive service. Excellent location for Galleries Lafayette and some good restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend it to others!
The internet was so expensive considering it was free at the previous hotel!
Location is fine but the size of the room leaves much to be desired, besides the rooms are very shabby though I stayed in the room category CLUB for the money you pay for it you espect something better
poor quality of room, very expensive breakfast
Location is very good, however room is very small and flowres around reception was made of plastic. But if you want to stay around Opera it is good value
The Hotel has a very central position only 2mins from Metro but the Hotel let itself down by advertising Junior Suites with a view of Hausmann Blvd but the reality was a room not much bigger than a double room at the back of the hotel looking out at the wall of the adjacent building with very little natural light, minor details such as making sure toiletries are replenished is not a problem you should have with a 4 Star Hotel. We were in room 326 if you wish to sleep beyond 8am ask for another room as the maids stores are next to this room and they are not the quietest of people which results in a early morning call.Breakfast was adequate but not inspiring. Overall our experience of this hotel could have been much better if they sorted out this small problems
Facilities: from a 4 stars hotel I expect a gym Service: I called room service 3 times and none picked up the phone. I had to ask the reception to call them.
Without exception all staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful which added to the enjoyment of the stay.Unfortunately the general condition of the hotel doesn't match the excellent staff. The decor isn't bad, perhaps a little time worn and in need of renovation, just enough not to make a return an automatic choice. Nontheless it is very well situated for sightseeing / shops / eating out ,with good breakfasts and bar. Saved by its high level of service.
very friendly service, charming "fin de siecle" atmosphere an excellent staff
Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Well appointed restaurant with a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. Staff helpful and multi-lingual. Very central location with a taxi rank outside the front door. - One of the best Parisian hotels.
Very good value, walking distance to Louvre etc., reasonable room size for Paris, and charming character.
A very typical "fin de ciecle" French style hotel very nicely refurbed and reasonable value in superb position. Excellent breakfast room
they should not charge for internet access. otherwise good hotel for the money
Perhaps the room was a little small.
A great hotel in a prime location just beside the Opera with a metro station 50mtrs away. Rooms are spacious and linen was changed daily. Street outside was quiet. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was self service and food quality was good and plentiful. A full breakfast was served.Hotel decor was good and atmosphere was friendly and relaxed.
