Millennium Hotel & Resort Manuels Taupo

The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel most welcome. The restaurant meal at Manuels was, as usual, outstanding. I very much enjoy coming here and will continue to do so.

Superbly situated only 50 metres or so from the water's edge, with great views and curious ducks liable to enter the room! The accommodation was comfortable, spacious and the staff professional and friendly.

Excellent service, excellent location on the water and 5-10minute walk to town centre. We had a balcony room over looking the water and very happy with the room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We will stay there again.

Excellent. Great, friendly staff, modern facilities. Dinner there was superb. One of our favourite places we stayed in N.Z. The view of the sunset over the lake from our room was spectacular.

Whilst the Hotel was very good, we felt that it was overpriced for the type of room we had.

It is in a beautiful spot right on the lake but you definitely need a car

Beautiful view, pity we could not stay longer!

This was probably the best hotel of its type on the trip and cannot be commended enough. The staff were friendly, service excellent and the views from the rooms hard to match. The restaurant served the best dinner we had in New Zealand (against some stiff competition) and breakfast was memorable for the right reasons. Would definitely stay again.

Go for the balcony rooms overlooking the lake. Little out of town and room a little small if you had kids but food and people were good. Lots to see in and around town - well worth the visit.

Awesome position situated right on the lake front at Lake Taupo. Very close to the town centre. Has a lovely walkway around the lakefront that takes you into town. Is on the main road though so a bit of traffic news in the morning. We had a superb meal in the restaurant and lovely breakfast also. Very pleasant staff. Very clean and tidy. Cherry, New Zealand

Fabulous room located right on the Lake Front. Very nicely furnished and service by all staff was very good. Was disappointed with the meal at Peppers Restaurant though.

Had a nice stay and staff were very accommodating, wish we could of stayed longer.

Just a great place to stay. Fantastic setting, great service and food. Highly recommend this hotel.

Facilities were excellent, pricing was a little high for what we got. Morning buffet was very good with a great selection but the evening buffet could have been a lot better. Will eat out for dinner next time. The Queen suite wasn’t worth the extra dollars, will keep to the normal double room next time when we return.
