Mina Hotel Istanbul

I really was impresed with this hotel. it was clean, staff are helful, location was excelent. My wife and I realy like it.

This is a very nice hotel, conveniently located in the heart of Sultanahmet, close to the main attractions. The staff was friendly and the room as well as the rest of the hotel was clean. Breakfast was ok, but you have to pay for something above base like fresh orange juice. Main drawbacks were that I was expecting a double bed and was given twin beds (so if you want a double bed you must specify in advance) and also that they advertise in-house body and face massage until 23:00, but when I called at 21:00 I was told that in fact this is only during daytime.

Great service and really excellent location. Nice breakfastroom with view over the Marmara Sea.

This is a GREAT value hotel right in the heart of old town. A lot of people have given the facilities only 1 star rating; if it is a 3 star hotel it is not realistic to expect a 5 star hotel gym and indoor pool, right? I though the facilities were just fine for the type of hotel we are talking about. The staff are superb; I didnt like my first room as it had a smallish window so they upgraded me to a fantastic room with a massive window and double bed. I know where I will stay next time!

Perfect location-just five minutes to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia!!! Nice view from 6th floor over the see (the restaurant). Hotel is nice, cosy and clean. Our room was ok, but we noticed there are some rooms without window (inside the building) and I wouldn't recommend them. We were there in February (temperature outside was around 0 C) but there was heating in the room so it wasn't cold at all. Outside of the season there are not so many guests which makes restaurant a little bit slower (we needed to wait for lunch quite a long while)-I recommend eating lunches and dinners downtown. But the breakfast was ok. Service in the hotel was nice and helpful. It is really good hotel in really beautiful place!

By far NOT a boutique hotel. Old and dirty mattresses, not a single bathroom accessory in perfect condition. Very cold rooms at night as A/C is too weak, no spare blankets. Economical breakfast, nothing exciting on the menu. Just an over-priced 3-star hotel in downtown Istanbul.

I only stayed briefly as I was changing flights, so didn't see the facilities offerred. My only complaint was that there was only one small window in my room and it looked at internal stairs. It was only a budget room but it was very claustrophobic. The staff were very cheerful and friendly though and the place was very clean.

Value for money

I would absolutely go back to Mýna hotel. The staf was exceptýonally helpful and courteous. My only small complaýnt ýs that the AC ýn my room was not very strong.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy and have airconditioning. The location is great and prices are reasonable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to everybody.

Management very nice and helpful. On the negative side we got a rather small room without a view (one of which on each floor). So bad luck in our case. We would have like to known in advance.

Great location 5 minutes walking distance from all attractions of old Istanbul, very helpful stuff (Serkant at the reception is probably the most helpful and coutrious hotel stuff I have ever met), super clean rooms, great view of Marmara Sea, very well prepared breakfast. Overall excellent, a gem in Sultanahmet.

The staff were extreamly helpful, we were made to feel welcome and felt very comfortable there. It was a great location. I would definatly stay there again, i was very impressed!

The location is quite good... central but not too busy and very quiet... rooms are average european size....

Extremely helpful, warm and frýendly staff, great breakfast buffet wýth beautýful výew of Marmara Sea from the roof top restaurant, very helpful bell boy, I would easýly stay ýn ýt agaýn and ýn fact came back after a 2 day trýp to Cappadocýa after stayýng here for 3 days. Nýce rooms, somehwat small but all facýlýtýes avaýlable and very well located on a quýet street but close to major attractýons! Chamu S. USA

Mina has a good location in the Sultanahmat area. The rooms are small but very clean. The hotel staff is helpful and you can have a nice breakfast with a good view of the Blue Mosque !

overall good experience. frequent (and short) power outages at night when we were there. service was good though one receptionist was really trying to get us on a ferry along the Bosphorus, perhaps commission driven?! breakfast bufet could have been a little richer for a 4-star hotel.

This is very beautiful hotel, warm people, good location and nice view. This is a small hotel but looks like 5 star hotel. I would stay here again. Daryoush Abedi

The hotel is very nice in terms of location, staff and pricing.

Evan though the rooms were small and they don't have double beds, the location was great. The breakfast is a good variety of foods with the option of paying for a special ordered egg. The staff was very friendly.
