Getting there:If travelling from the south, the Miners Lodge Motor Inn is located on the left hand side of Nebo Road (better known as the Bruce Highway linking Rockhampton from the south to Townsville in the north) just past the Bridge Road traffic lights, or approximately 4 km from the city gates.
Check-in Procedure:The Miners Lodge Motor Inn accepts all major credit cards. On arrival a pre-authorisation of your credit card for your accommodation amount may be required. Cheques not accepted, unless cleared by the bank ten (10) days prior to arrival date.
Car parking:Free secure off-street undercover car parking is available for all units (excluding upstairs units).

We had to be moved to adjoining unit due to possum? in roof. This did not solve our problem as it simply moved during night. I cannot believe that previous tenant did not mention the noise to management.

Studio Unit located at the front of the property in close proximity to the Bistro and swimming pool. Each Unit contains a Queen size bed only catering for one to two guests.
Executive Unit with Queen size bed and one single, located at the rear of the property in quiet surroundings with great garden views. Each unit can accommodate between 1-3 guests.
Fantastic Executive/Twin Units with separate bedrooms, balconies and great garden views. The first bedroom contains a Queen size bed, with three singles located in the second bedroom. Each unit can accommodate between 1-5 guests.
Friendly reception on my arrival to Motel. Staff were eager to provide service when requested. The walking to distance to the local shops were an advantage. I would difinitely stay again when next staying in Mackay. Great place to stay.

This is my second stay this motel and have eaten in their restaurant as well The food is good quality and the portions are large. I found the staff ever ready to assist. i will stay there again when I next travl to Mackay.

The room could have had a fan as qite warm and air-con noisy and very cold.
