This hotel offers exceptional value for money, in a great location. Its great for people on a budget who dont intend spending a lot of time in their room Its pluses are location on Hong Kong Island, 50 metres from Sheun Wang MTR stop and 5 minutes walk to Central MTR, allowing you easy access to all of Hong Kong, the airport, Macau Rooms are spotlessly clean, with everything you need, fully equipped bathroom, coffee/tea, fridge, in room phone, wi fi, tv, dvd, music and airconditioning Downside is even for Hong Kong room size is small. The room I had, had one single bed, a small aisle with desk one side and fridge the other leading to the bathroom There was no window in the room, giving a stuffy and claustrophobic feel. Internet and phone did not work in room Staff were friendly and helpful. This place offers great value for money in a city where hotel rates can be very high. Set the right expectations and you cant go wrong Would defintiely stay again and recommend

This hotel is quite well located only across the road from the mtr station in the Sheung Wan district and only ten minutes walking distance from central station. The area is very nice and has a very old city market feel. It's surround by lots of traditional cafes, shops and bakery's and a Starbucks or two for good measure. The hotel itself is clean and modern. It's reasonably quiet and the staff are quite friendly. I arrived at about 8am and they had my room ready within a few hours. The only negative I can find was the room size. My single room was absolutely tiny. It was up to 4 star standard and had a lot of nice features including a movie/music bank on the TV and adjustable room lighting controls via the TV. The bathroom was clean and modern with a nice shower. The double rooms looked slightly bigger but if it's a single you're after don't be expecting music bigger than a standard UK/Ire houses box room (if not a little smaller). Overall I liked this hotel and would give it 3 out of 5. Loosing two stars for my room size and the lack of a bar and a decent lobby.

It was my second time staying in this hotel, room is not too spacious, but acceptable. As experienced last visit, the cleaning crew (4 women) was perfect, efficient, friendly and they even remember my face and talk to us. While the receptionist are always not friendly, they don't greet, no smile and giving you 'not willing to help' attitude. If they can change that, I am sure they desserve a higher rating.

This hotelroom is probably one of the smallest I have stayed in, and no widow except in the bathroom. The rooms have free internet, Flatscreen TV with a lot of free movies and all the things you need. There is no breakfast, but since there is a coffee shop next door, this is not a big problem. It is close to the MRT (round the corner) and to catch the train to the ariport at Hongkong Station it is less than 10 minutes walk, The price is in the lower range, so it is a decent value for your money.

The room I had was small and cramped but you soon get used to it and adapt. Great location for me being in the Central District. The hotel is about 1 block away from the underground train (MTR) which is great. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff's English speaking ability is poor but some of the staff tries hard to help you. Learn to play the Charades game before you stay there.

unexpected 1: tons of movies and other entertainment options to choose unexpected 2: nice sound system of 5.1 channel for movie unexpected 3: shower sucks, water splashed all over unexpected 4: slow response, told the staff to repair a light bulb, ended up same not until reminding them to do so the next day unexpected 5: only night shift staff will greet you, day time shift staff as in didnt see you at all

The location and neighborhood of this hotel are great. It's in an older, more traditional neighborhood, so you get a better feel for Hong Kong away from the touristy areas. Rooms are very small, but well organized, so if you have many big suitcases it may be cramped or unmanageable. I had a carry-on, backpack, and purse, which was perfect for the size of the room. Overall, it's clean with trendy decorations. My room was very high-tech with a skype phone, wi-fi, flat screen TV where you can check your hotel balance, order morning call, and request DVDs.

Overall, this is a great, small hotel in a fantastic location, perfect if you are doing a few days in HK on a budget.

very good and decent hotel for less than 600 hkd/night if like me you just have to spend a few nights before and after going to macau. you can walk to the ferry terminal-10 mns- through the metro. in sheung wan area, full of shops and restaurants,7/11 next door, not far from soho and queen's street with the metro right at the corner.obviously for this price rooms are small but ok, wifi is brilliant, ac perfect, it's clean and tidy.i would recommend it.

I am pretty impressed by this hotel which may be hidden amongst many shophouses but the service staff is EXCELLENT!!! The hotel is cosy and located in a nice peaceful area. It is very convenient and near the mtr station too. Easily accessible to any part of HK especially Central. It is within walking distance :) For those who has mummies who like to buy dried preserved food like dried scallops, this is an execellent shopping place! And for those who cannot leave home without the internet, this is an execellent place! It has free wi-fi. The cleanliness is average. However overall, it is an execellent place for singles and families :)

reasonably priced and very well located hotel; Less than 100 m to the entrance of Sheung Wan MTR. Facilities are limited and the rooms are small even by Hong Kong standards, but definitely recommended if you are on a budget

The hotel location is very convenient for business in Central. If you are looking for a room to sleep in only without paying high prices, this is a good choice. The rooms are very tiny but bed was comfortable, shower a decent size and they offer free WIFI. The cost effective choice.

I loved the location of this hotel. It's about 150 meters to the subway which makes almost everything in HK pretty much accessible. The rooms are a bit tiny though but I don't mind since I don't spend a lot of time in the hotel. There's also a 7-11 nearby which is very convenient in case you go hungry or thirsty in the middle of the night. :-)

Decent place to stay, helpful staffs, fast free internet.

Location was just a minute walk from Ext 2A in Shueng Wan MTR station or 10 minutes walk from the HongKong-Macau Ferry Terminal. The in-house free movies is a plus for my kids; a facility that those large and luxurious hotels charged for! The people in reception and the chambermaids were friendly and helpful. Hotel is located near the tram lines. Travelling in these to the central and some of the places in HK island is cheaper and less crowded than going on the MRT.
