Mingle Place With The Star Hotel Hong Kong

"This was a nice place and I originally was attracted to it because of the price and location. I paid around HK$1100 for 2 nights. The one thing I wasn't happy with was the construction even though I remember reading about it. It seemed to carry on quite late into the evening. Also, they charged me for the 2 bottles of distilled water that I drank. A bit strange since the material in their room said something along the lines of "water is provided" and you may also boil water. The price list mentioned a price for the mineral water- I did NOT drink the mineral water- only the standard distilled water that is normally free at hotels in Hong Kong. It seemed unclear to me. It felt a bit like a "gotcha".... Anyway, aside from that I liked the nice room (even though it was small). The location is excellent. Don't expect lots of facilities. Oh, my windows were frosted so I couldn't see outside. For a good price it's very good." - Anonymous

"The hotel was great although it's quite difficult to get it because of the staircases before we reached the elevator with our huge luggages. Other than that, everything about the hotel is great. We really love the way they play with technology. Only one comment for hotel club, I was actually trying to book 2 rooms here. I started with one room first since the system didn't allow me to book 2 rooms at the same time. But when I tried to book another room, the system said there's no room available. However I tried to get somebody as they said we can have live chat with somebody. But it's really turn out that the chat was really useless. They cannot do anything in terms of help.
