"The Mint Shearwater was a fabulous hotel to stay in with friendly staff and the location is excellent, especially if you have children as it is right across the road from the patrolled Kings Beach and Caloundra Life Saving Club. There is also a water play park between the hotel and the beach. The local tavern, 3 min walk, offers affordable, and plentiful meals. Conveniently located approximately 1 hour north of Brisbane, on the Sunshine Coast, Guests travelling along the Bruce Highway should turn at the Caloundra/Landsborough Turn off.
As you enter Caloundra, follow the signs to Kings Beach. We are opposite the water fountains.
